What make was the camera package
They were only cheap ones off ebay and were terrible. They couldn’t deal with the vibes🤷♂️.
Im having the same problem on my 2022. All that carbon on the brush plate differently not good. Voltage leak to ground. Ill let you know if its the same with mine. 👍 Great vid. ✌️ Merry Christmas 🎄
Good luck with yours🙏. Mine actually turned out to be the battery🤷♂️. Which is probably why they gave me the battery when I bought the bike🤔. I fitted a new Yuasa battery and haven’t had any problems since😮💨. All the best for Christmas 🎅🫡.
What is that song playing, I like it
😢😮🤔
I really don’t know what you’re trying to communicate 🤷♂️
When survical is critical get the 250, and when on dire straights, drink your own pee for vital nutrients
From loads of power to bugger all.😅
It was fun . . . for a while . . . but definitely more gutless than I’d thought it would be on the faster roads🤷♂️ . . . I’ve ended up with a Hayabusa now so power has more than been restored 👌😂🤣
Love mine, great bike
They are lovely bikes. Mine tried to kill me a couple of times😱. It was under light - moderate braking the abs kicked in, for no apparent reason, and wouldn’t give me any braking nearly causing me to crash. Completely lost faith in the bike and got rid. Now none of my bikes have abs and all the near death experiences have gone away 😂
Wanting to know what kind of bike lift that is
@@rslawtonrl As you asked so nicely I’ll tell ya 😉 It’s an Abba Skylift, it allows you to lift your bike in three ways :- Level, front wheel in the air or back wheel in the air. It’s definitely a useful piece of kit, especially if you’re working in a tight space. Hope that helps, thanks for watching and commenting 🫡.

@@lukestarling6810 what a utopian collection you have🫡.
Did you notice an increase in vibrations? I’ve recently bought last of this model and I’m struggling with the vibes. Around 4500 rpm it buzzes in the pegs, bars and seats and continues up the rev range. I’ve done up the bar ends, changed pegs to puig with rubber but I can’t ride any more than an hour on it with out numb hands and bum. I’m going to be going through all bolts but I was looking on a forum and someone said they went back to the original bolts after taking out the frame sliders and it was better.
Hi, nope no problems with vibes🤷♂️. I had a couple of scary incidents where the ABS activated at slow speed in traffic, possibly didn’t like a cats eye or something, but wouldn’t allow me the brakes back until it was almost to late 😱. As a result I now have a fleet of motorcycles that have no ABS and pretty much no rider aids, the Busa has three modes but it stays in rocket ship mode all year round👌. Thanks for watching and commenting 🫡.
The only vibes I had a problem with was incorrect tyre balancing, have you had new tyres recently 🤷♂️ ruclips.net/video/r-8ARLyZQZY/видео.htmlsi=KYnmk2755yWNYMKX
@ yes both front and rear
@ perhaps you have a balancing issue🤷♂️. Mine wasn’t out by very much to cause pain in my hands.
@ so I’ve been trying to sort this out and today, I removed the air box blanking plate, played with the suspension and took the frame sliders off, putting the proper £20 bolts that I ordered from fowlers in. The result- I struggled to feel any vibrations at all! So pleased… it was grip puppies and lead in the bars next, but I think I won’t bother.

@ hmmm maybe it’s the fact It can be a ballistic missile, but you can also use it as a normal motorbike for commuting not many bikes like that nowadays 👍
@ using it constantly as a ballistic missile is definitely better👌
I fitted a hugger and a extenda on the Bandit and recently I have bought a manual tire - tyre changing machine which does bike and car so I don't have to pay people to fit em! 193Kilometers an hour but keep that to yourself! I have a seedo healer on the bandit and it keeks your fastest speed and you have a button to press to show it! I have had them tyres but have dunlop road smarts on at the mo. I have a tall screen and a wind deflector which make the speed a breeze!
and you call me a Speed Demon 😳
@@bikerantics5001 It was only once!
@ I’m sure its been twice🤔 Doesn’t change your 193kph though🤫 Speed Demon👌
Ahh..was wondering where you were, pleased you managed to shake it off, ahem, and make a video..the phone was ok, but can you turn it sideways please and film in landscape as there was two ‘geet big black lines down the side on me telly lol 😂…I’ve not had the battleax but a mate did and he loved them tbf 🤷♂️..hope you’ve got your mojo back..probably just the onset of winter blues..I hate Oct to March…roll on spring
You worry to much you need to 🎶 calm down 🎶🤣 Yep, can definitely try landscape, it’d probably look better full screen . . . it’s not like it could look any worse 🤣 It’s only on the two Hayabusa’s I’ve owned that the Battlax haven’t inspired confidence, especially on the colder wetter days. The Michelin seem to warm up faster and grip better in all conditions🤷♂️ It’s definitely a cosyier time of year indoors, outside is a bit more challenging 😂
I like going up the hill from beddinham roundabout with a bit of beans and just to see the cars in the mirror go bye bye 👋 😂
It has got some lovely sweeping fast bends👌
Interesting, didnt know linked brakes had a separate piston in the caliper, did my 750x front pads yesterday and good to see you didnt feel the need for any threadlock as I didnt go with any, but ill still check them again after couple days commuting this week. Any particular reason you went with sintered?
Very wise rechecking the fixings, can’t be to over cautious when it comes to brakes👌. The sintered pads have always given excellent performance and with a single disc system a little extra help from sintered rather than going with organic couldn’t hurt, in my opinion 🤷♂️
@bikerantics5001 went and bought replacement ALOC bolts in the week and put them in today for piece of mind, just under £3 a piece from Honda. I'll try sintered next time to compare, do around 8k a year commuting so imagine I'll be changing them again by this time next year
The only time I found the sintered pads to not feel as good was on one of my V-Stroms. I don’t think I was getting them warm enough, due to aggressively using the engine breaking, and the brakes felt a bit ‘wooden’. So I returned to organic pads and the ‘feel’ came back. In all the other bikes I’ve used them they’ve ‘felt’ good with a good progressive lever to braking force performance. The organics always seemed to need to much lever to start braking, which felt like I wouldn’t have enough lever left in an emergency, perhaps it’s just the way I ride🤷♂️.

Just done the spark plugs on mine. Remove tank, remove 2 bolts that hold cap/thermostat housing and you’re good to go. Cutouts in the frame let you get the left and right plug out. Move the thermostat housing left and right a smidge to do the centre 2 plugs. Less time and hassle than the 2 plugs on my TL😊
They’re definitely an easy beast to service 👌
Alex at motoretro put on a new shock, going to have a play as it's fully adjustable. The bike is fun to ride and a great to know loads of the maintenance jobs have been. It's a million miles away from a Busa tho but she is steady.

How long did it take in total to fit new bars?

GORGEOUS! 🇬🇧🏴👍
I know, thanks . . . and the bike is tooooo🫣👌
V-Strom will have a smaller bore res ( 1/2) as it only needs to push two x two piston calipers where the busa 5/8ths has to push two x six you need a bandit12 res or a later gsxr radial res
@@heatz711 I did wonder if there was a difference in bore sizes, so thanks for clearing that up🙏. I’ve actually got a brake master cylinder/ reservoir off a 2007 K6 DL1000 GT V-Strom marked as a 5/8ths Nissin, so that’s lucky👌.
You couldn’t resist that little flick of the throw through the tunnel lol me thinks you might just love the busa good job buddy 👍
You’ve gotta blip when blipping is required 🫡. There’s nothing not to love about the Busa👌
Got to say, thats a cracking conversion youve done there bro! I bet thats way nicer to ride now. 10/10😉👍👍👍🏆🏆🏆
Thanks very much🙇. It’s more gorgeous than gorgeous could ever be👌
I was riding behind a nice Hayabusa yesterday on the way to a mates place. Now there is a video fitting the new reservoirs.

made a big difference to my comfort.i ended up getting a taller screen.
I’ve got a touring screen on which makes a difference but the handlebars have made a huge improvement to my comfort👌
Thank you for your guidance. Found the two spade connectors a squirt of WD40 onto a Q Tip to clean the green gunk off and it works perfectly! Really appreciate your time to make and post this video.
It isn’t meant as a tutorial but I’m glad it helped🫡. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙏
I comment don't know if you got it I have a 2016 busa got a bar conversion done had to get my mechanic to do it because of abs brakes he had to cut screen hands just hit mirrors on full lock my lever are out straight no problem done a year now I put extensions on mirrors.
Yep, got your comment, I can’t always respond immediately 👌, but do appreciate your time and effort commenting 🙏. Try your mirrors on opposite sides and see if you prefer that🤷♂️.
The reservoir will be fine as long as you have the right amount of fluid and do that like you say you just have to lean the bike to an angle my bikes been like this for years I’ve never had any trouble. It’s a sealed unit. 👍
I’ve actually been riding the bike for a couple of weeks like this with no leakage, so all good👌. The only reason to change the reservoirs would be for aesthetics🤷♂️. So I’ll continue to enjoy it for now🫡.
I would look into say a Suzuki bandit 1250 clutch master cylinder and brake master cylinder what do you recon.
I have a 2016 busa conversion done, got it done by mecanic I got him to because of abs no problem yet done over a year now, he had to cut screen hands just touch mirrors on full lock my levers are up straight
I’ve got a couple from a young V-Strom 1000 which are probably the same as the Bandit🤷♂️.
I did actually mention the very same idea in part 6 (12:35 mins)😇.
@deniskennedy9070 It’s definitely a quality upgrade to the comfort of the bike👍. My screen is a touring screen so maybe that’s why I haven’t needed to cut it🤷♂️. I’ve put my mirrors on the opposite sides and although the rear view isn’t as good they are functional and my hands only just touch them with armoured knuckle gloves on👌.
@@bikerantics5001 Yes you did I'm just making sure you don't forget the idea!
Can't wait for the next episode, i.e., the drive 🏍👍
‘Drive’😱 . . . you hopefully meant ride??🤣
Appreciate the video!! Very helpful! I need to do the same for a 2015 CTX700, and I'm assuming the fork oil has never been serviced before. I'm the third owner. The CTX700 service manual indicates axle torque at 74 N-m (55 ft-lbs), and pinch bolt at 22 N-m (16 ft-lbs). The CTX700 and NC700X appear to share a lot of parts.
It wasn’t meant as I tutorial but I’m glad it helped 🫡. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙏.

@@MRTPR it’s soooo worth the journey. . . it’s now like your GSXS on steroids 🫡🤣
Whoever aswers that correctly gets instandly employed by nasa. And gets to sit on his ass getting paid for making up stories from then onwards :P Cause that s what they do at nasa. So i m gonna give it a try.On the stand the rear beeing higher causes the weight distribution to change so the tension on the chain is diferent?.. You hear me nasa?? :) Anw i always strugle with the chain, few days ago i heard an engener say that if u tighten the rear axle to at least 80% before u make the adjustment it doesn t make big change after the final 100nm.Haven t try it yet. And yeah it ll look awsome with the pegs in black! Enjoy the busa rocket! Far better than the fake nasa rocketships!!!! :)
Nasa’s calling 🤣. It does help having the axle nut pinched up a bit, I think, but 80% might be a little tight🤷♂️, I usually go to around 56.7% of full torque 🫣😇.
I bought this Abm kit cause u can change back to clip-ons.... Do u know any human beeing who can actually go through all of this for a 2nd time and survive to tell the story? :P

@@bikerantics5001 Yeah, that s my view too. Maybe after a year of vacations in Hawai i could gather the mental strengh necessary to turn it back to clip-ons :) But i really like it with the handlebar.
