Another top video and easy fix! Sorry about your mum passing. I have a decent sized single garage but as usual it's not big enough. It doesn't help that there's a classic mini shell in there with 2 bikes. Need to finish the mini and get it out so I can have more space to work on the bikes
Yeah the pin on mine did exactly the same and my bike is only 3000 miles. The corrosion causes the hole diameter to shrink, pressing on the rubber boot and into the pin, making it stick. I suggest you put a bit of silicone grease in the slider pin hole before putting the boot back through it, so that moisture cannot get back in and cause it to stick again.
@@bikerantics5001 Yeah, crazy isn't it. The last guy must have used it as a coat hanger. I got it with only 1340 miles on it 2014 ABS model from Superbike factory supposedly with a 120 point check but I found on receipt of the bike: Out of date (original) tyres, coolant was chalky gloop, presumably no oil change done, brake and clutch fluids dark, and perished fork dust seals. I changed the seals and oil in the forks, just so I would get no advisory on it's MOT, but it was probably best to change them anyway after 10 years. Oh, and they put a cheap shitty battery in it. Being a muppet, I did all the work myself to bring the bike back up to life and said fook all because it was an otherwise 'new' bike. I paid a lot for it too. Almost 9 grand. Yes, I'm a tit. 🤣🤣
@royevans4581 I’ve heard/ read a lot of ‘good’ things about Superbike Factory, after I’d had a very poor encounter with one of their sales team! To be fair I would’ve done the same regarding sorting the bike, we’re all tits when it comes to a new bike🫡

Thanks👍
and Thanks 🙏
You’ve definitely got enough tinkering to be getting on with there, good luck🫡
Nothing like cleaned up brakes that work.
It was the fact that when I had to push the brake pedal that far it almost touched the road I realised there my be a problem 🤔
🤣

I had a premonition you’d say this and have greased all the bits . . . almost definitely to much🤣

3000 miles? Is it a gen 3?

Nurse nurse he's out of bed again, and he's putting grease all over the break disc again 🤣🤣🤣
So long as the grease burns off and the brakes start working for the next MoT all will be good😂🤣
