This is my favorite performance of all time, because I know she's sick, or recovering from being sick. I know how it is to sing in that state. I love the imperfections of the singing compared to the regular song, the straining (even though, please, don't do this, let your voice fucking rest) just because I know she wants to put on a performance. I've been in the same state - I've gone to karaoke knowing I'd completely blow out my voice in its state. She still hits the notes, she just can't sustain or realize them, but you know they're there. I'm also open to someone hearing this and going "wtf, what is this", but as someone who has followed Paramore so long - this one means more to me than anything. I love them.

I remember when they played at virgin records on at mockingbird station. I stayed later than I should have and the train left me in a really sketchy neighborhood because it wasn’t running all the way to my stop anymore. Man, I used to have an unreleased 8 song demo from 2003 (untitled, before the Make A Dent EP, and burned onto a regular CD) with this version on it. I got it through a friend that was friend's with the lead singer at that time; which I believe was before Marshall Dutton before Ryan Gibbs joined. Anywho, this is definitely the better version even though both are great.
