They probably would have became much more famous, but they broke up after this album. The singer Ryan Gibbs and rhythm guitarist Josh Franklin made a new band called Right On Red. They also made a band called Morning Wood I think. I'm not sure which one, if any, they're operating as right now.
So true. This song pop up in my life at just the right time in highschool after a break up. The memories. 💔❤ Wherever the band is...I hope they're doing well.
Had the privilege of seeing them live and that's around that time I didn't give new bands or new music a chance 4 ever grateful. Song kills me though every time I hear it.
I used to know one of you from Myspace I forget who it was at this point but as I was going through my liked videos and I saw this video and it reminded me of you guys. This was always one of my favorite songs that you guys created. I hope you are still doing things with your music.
Best song period. I told them this would be their #1 hit back in like 2005, but RR didn't listen to me lol. Anyways, long live the Faktion. Best memories from Deep Ellum, ever. Thanks guys!
Still years later I still listen to them.(I was 18 then) and I hope I can get you guys to play my wedding in 2033 because it would mean everything to me you have no idea. My best friend used to sing this song before he passed and that was 12 years ago ❤
Reminds me of this recent breakup that I went though. Was in it for three years until it finally ended. The other times it ended I knew wasn't the end but this time it's for real.. I'm moving on and memories hurt especially when I see another change of togetherness but... Loving someone can hurt to much. So I'm moving on to someone who will make me happy.
Man, I used to have an unreleased 8 song demo from 2003 (untitled, before the Make A Dent EP, and burned onto a regular CD) with this version on it. I got it through a friend that was friend's with the lead singer at that time; which I believe was before Marshall Dutton before Ryan Gibbs joined. Anywho, this is definitely the better version even though both are great.
I remember when they played at virgin records on at mockingbird station. I stayed later than I should have and the train left me in a really sketchy neighborhood because it wasn’t running all the way to my stop anymore. I walked to some building and begged to use the phone and my father got me a cab home 😅 I wish I knew where my signed copy went 😭
@missy0413 Hello from Germany! Your words are so true. It is the hardest to remember some thins that have been so wonderful when it is over. But you're doing the right thing to move on. I hope you already found this special someone who will make you happy, otherwise it just takes some time to find it. Wish you the best and just don't look back to often. I did it as I split up with my girlfriend and it took me a whole year to get over it.
i have a demo... my sister gave it to me... she lives in dallas area and she's a friend of one of the band members..... the songs sound way better on the demo.... if someone want the mp3's i can send him/her the songs..... HI To Everyone !!!!! I'm From Monterrey Mexico...!!!
once again i fucking hate this version. give me the actual original version off the first album when the guy who could actually sing was still in the band.
This is the version from the self-titled album. The original comes from the Make A Dent EP they released in 2004 and is, unfortunately, incredibly hard to find. Regardless though, it is definitely the same vocalist from both the EP and the studio album.
One of the most underrated songs and bands of all time.
Most true of a statement you make my friend. You like flaw?

I had the privilege of seeing them play this live and they are so amazing 👏 😍
@@laceystafford5051 I wish I could because they helped me when I was 17 and I need them more now than ever at 33 😥
So true. This song pop up in my life at just the right time in highschool after a break up.
The memories. 💔❤
Wherever the band is...I hope they're doing well.
This was my profile song on Myspace for a long time. I miss those days.
This September were Myspace songs for me too
Same

I saw them with Hinder and Theory of a Deadman. It was amazing
Gosh how I miss these Faktion days!
Best. Ever.
Love you guys!!

Awesome band, One of the best ever to come out of Dallas. I love the music and always enjoy seeing the guys
Still hits home

For those men who are hurt by a woman, yet still wish to retain a friendship, this song should be a part of your library.

Still Listening!!!

I was just thinking this very thing!!! Good ol days!
Saw this band twice live :) Awesome guys.

This version is just......wow!
still one of my favorites
No shit, this song is epic
I remember buying this album from Rasputin.
Anyone remember that?
God, I feel _so_ old!
(sighs)
This song takes on a whole new meaning with Covid-19 around now.

I know this is old, but I hope to hell you still have that demo; or at least access to the mp3 files. I would LOVE to have the originals!
I’d like the mp3s
Maybe upload the songs on your channel?
Can’t seem tp get this on iTunes anymore anyone know why?
I also always thought Marshal had an amazing voice and should of done more lead vocals.
Unfable he's now the singer for Hinder
This is Ryan Gibbs not dutton!
I found this cd in my car today and took me back to high school. Played this to my ex one time and met my soon to be wife the next day.
@missy0413 Good for you missy :) keep your head held high
Why isn't this on iTunes?!
Awwwwwwwww
anyone have let you in?
@trh2086 I certainly do care. Did you get them from Making a Dent?
Saw them in concert twice. First time with this lead singer. Second time they had someone else and sucked
1 person like lady gaga.
once again i fucking hate this version. give me the actual original version off the first album when the guy who could actually sing was still in the band.
I´m also looking for the original version
Brooks Camp yeah, these guys have no idea what they're talking about. This is Ryan
