May I share you my 1979 story for you. Vang vieng to kasi is your heaven, but that was my hell. You may remember as you heading north on Rte 13 cross the bridge and leaving the Nam Xong river behind, you go through a narrow cliff then you will see the side road oranges market then the next 500 meters that's where we crossed the road from right to the left for escaping to freedom to Thailand and then USA because my parents were CIA recruited soldiers. Lots of people being killed around where the orange market area.
