A late November Sunday was perfect for a catfishing trip on Drakes Creek in Hendersonville, Tennessee. It took a couple of hours to locate any fish. While unhooking a solid 5-10lb channel cat, another rod bent over with a second one. Flash, my dog, was along for the adventure.

@Alan-y4w I ordered the actual seed bits on some seed website, I'd have to look it up. Then I boiled them in water and then just keep em in water in a jar in the fridge and they're good to go.

Do you ever fish the tailwater side of that dam?
Never by boat. I want to but have to plan it, the nearest ramp is about a 30-40 minute drive and it's a bit sketchy of a ramp. Used to be able to get behind the dam on foot at the rec area but they haven't opened or cleaned it up in almost a year so on this side of the river there's no access to bank fish or launch a boat. I definitely will plan a time to go out there and fish it.

@@biblebeltfishing I watched it, try to check out all your videos 💯 - I do have weekends available sometimes due to kids. Sundays are usually the best still but hopefully can find a time coming up. Do you get out often in the winter? I'll probably be catfishing a bunch then, just didn't know if you were still bass fishing much once the weather gets kinda miserable 😂. I have had very little luck bass fishing once December rolls around so I don't bother much.

Thanks! 🙏 I’m two weeks out today and ahead of schedule per the doc. So things are going well. I don't know much about carp behavior with seasons. I'm still an amateur with carp. I've seen some UK guys say that fall/autumn are great carp fishing times.. I'll be moving to catfish soon. We've got some big blues here. PB is 45 and state record is 122-123 about 60 miles west of me on the same river. So I know bigger ones are out here, so I'll be hunting them soon.
