      @@timsun6810 … I think a lot of the issue is with Continental. The CD-300 used in the DA50 should have been a CD-350. The M350 needs at a minimum a CD-400. The problem is these engines do not exist (yet). A CD-350 would be great for the SR22. Heck, even a CD-325. It’s a hard sell to convince someone to pay these prices when you’re still using old engine technology. 10 years ago, sure, but certainly not today.

      @@vicenteenrriqueraimondi7755 … Fuel economy for one. Second, imagine driving your car and having a lever to control your fuel mixture that you have to adjust as your driving conditions change. Having fadec takes some of the work load off of the pilot as the computer handles the mixture. It’s much better for the engine. Also, the future is Jet-A as many places around the world are no longer supplying avgas which is leaded gasoline. Airplane prices have gone nuts, and the airplane manufactures are selling the same old product that desperately needs to be updated. The airplane manufactures need to be putting pressure on companies like Continental and Lycoming to innovate and bring more modern engines to market. The M350 in this video is a wonderful airplane. It’s gotten much better over the years except for the engine, engine management, and useful load. This plane is not capable of traveling with 6 adults, luggage, and full fuel, which is nuts for the price. Beyond that, it’s a beautiful pressurized 6 seater. If this plane came with a diesel burning fadec controlled piston engine with 450hp, it would be just about perfect. Stepping up to the M500 is a massive leap financially both in operating cost and maintenance.

    Stang is back? why haven't I heard this anywhere else? is it actually different or did they just regret discontinuing it? Eclipse still bests it significantly though although it has no lav which is a significant issue. And a private jet could still be 2-4x more fuel efficient than Eclipse.

      I agree with you. I looked at the 2 versions there and neither one had a weather radar bubble on a wing. I find it amazing if not almost suicidal to fly a high performance airplane into the flight level's without it. Maybe it was an option? I don't know. You had a very valid question though.

      XM weather is enough, 5 minutes upgrade is good enough, if you need faster, you shouldn't fly so close to cells.

    They stopped doing premium half way. The yoke and seats are nice premium looking. The rest is standard, grey plastic look and nothing special or premium. The grey seatbelts don’t even fit to the seats. Maybe Tecnam should overdue their premium twin. That they know how to do it, is proven by the Tecnam grand lusso single engine version.

    according to the registration on this aircraft its a twin Deltahawk DHK180 jet fueled turbo reciprocrating engine. they usually consume around 10-11 gallons / hr ea. and i would have to guess this is a 200mph+ plane. Its a 2018 KEN MISHLER build of a Velocity V-Twin. serial number VT020. hope this helps for those with questions on this aircraft as it appears Ken did an excellent job on this build, gorgeous bird. I wish i could go for a ride!

      From the Deltahawk website they show 7.3 gal/hr at 75% power. So 6gal/hr per side is not out of the realm of possibility.

      Looks like those are for the Turbo's. The Radiators for the engines look to be in the belly scoop on the tail section just behind the cabin.

      @@kvnkaveman Not so sure about that... the exhaust pipe is on the opposite side (right side engine anyway). Wouldn't make much sense to route the exhaust all the way back there.
