Welcome to Maritime Acres Homestead, We are based out of New Brunswick, Canada and have a 155 acre Homestead, but our journey started many years ago fishing, hunting, practicing wilderness self reliance & foraging for wild edible & medicinal plants/fungi in the Ontario Wilderness. The goal was to fill our knowledge bank with useful information to be able to become as self reliant as possible because when it comes to living off the land it takes a lot of time & research to not only survive but thrive. We like the old school ways of homesteading but also will use the modern tools and techniques so our goal with this property is to become more self-reliant in the future and turn this place into a functional homestead and our natural paradise.
