I am sure participants had many takeaways, at least I had many. #employeewellbeing #paneldiscussion #enablingworld Highlights are as below: 1) Globally there is a trend for greater demand for personalized well-being services and the scope is moving from just physical health to 360-degree wellness 2) Getting rich insights about employees' unique needs is a necessary pre-cursor to designing a personalized well-being service. EAP Data, Employee surveys, and Managers and Wellness Champions feedback could be useful sources to be used within data protection norms 3) The best strategy is to create a buffet of services that are relevant and valued by employees and create effective communication and awareness campaigns so that employees can choose what they need versus a push. 4) Technology especially generative AI plays a big role in enabling hyper-personalisation but should not be a substitute for a human touch 5) Managers play a big role in facilitating higher wellness within team and periodic wellness connect - using a wellness conversation guide will facilitate meaningful dialogue and insights about employee's well-being needs 6) Managers are encouraged to use discretion for reasonable accommodation for employees going through a wellness challenge but without creating additional unreasonable stress and burden for co-workers 7) Hybrid and remote work has made personalization of wellness tougher and needs creative ways to solve versus the traditional approach 8) Wellbeing index by EAP service providers or auditors, Employee turnover, productivity, absenteeism, employee survey trends, and adoption rates are some of the ways to measure the effectiveness of corporate well-being initiatives 9) Wellbeing programs are not a substitute for a healthy workplace where employees can be herself/himself and can thrive.

Great insights from all the experts Dr Ankita, Dr Sunanda, and Surya. The key is financial literacy and planning. Employee financial stability impacts their engagement, productivity, workplace distractions, loyalty and advocacy. There is a business case to focus on this often overlooked aspect of employee wellbeing.
