My favorite parts of the original STAR TREK: Generations ending
Star Trek Generations always kind of bugged me. It was like they went out of their way to enable an overweight, aging, toupee-wearing, bad-acting William Shatner to go out a hero. The original ending of Generations was very different from what appeared in the final film.
In fun, I decided to take the original Generations ending and edit together my fav. parts!

CHiPs - Ponch has a Karate battle with a gang leader from the old neighborhood

Since I had the final "showdown" from this episode's sequel, I thought it fitting to have the showdown from this episode as well. CHiPs was the most non-violent cop show I can think of. No one ever really drew guns or fired a weapon and physical confrontations like this happened only very rarely.
CHiPs - Ponch and Jon take on a karate skilled street gang

In the late 1970s and early 1980s, a buddy cop show called CHiPs chronicled the adventures of two California Highway Patrol officers named Ponch and Jon. Unlike that other "buddy" cop show "Starsky and Hutch", CHiPs was family themed and kept the violence to a minimum. Ponch and Jon never drew their guns, let alone fired them. And rarely did they ever use physical force to apprehend suspects. T...
Chicago - "Free" - 1978 at the Greek Theater - Robert Lamm lead vocals
Просмотров 38 тыс.15 лет назад
Another one from Chicago's 1978 show at the Greek Theater. Here, the band performs "FREE" which was originally a top twenty hit from Chicago III in 1970. This performance is unusual in that Robert Lamm - the song's writer - sings the lead vocals. Originally, the song was song by the late Terry Kath. In 1978, Chicago was in the unique position of having two tenor vocalists with bassist Peter Cet...
Flight 602 - Live 1978 - Chicago

In 1978, the band Chicago was hit by two major blows that nearly ended their career. First, they stopped working with James William Guercio who had been their producer and mentor through 11 platinum albums. Second, they sadly lost guitarist Terry Kath to an accidental gunshot wound. While the band nearly broke up, they ultimately decided to carry on with a new producer (Phil Ramone), new guitar...
Bob the Dummy's "spectacular" ESP abilities

One of the most entertaining characters on the old TV series, SOAP, was the sarcastic dummy, Bob (and his alter-ego Chuck). Here, Bob demonstrates his spectacular ESP capabilities.
A tribute to Spider-Man in the media

A few years ago, around the time that Spider-Man 2 came out, I did this tribute video to the webslinger and his various TV incarnations. Thought it was appropriate to post again, now that Spider-Man 3 is upon us.
A tribute to Robert McCall, (aka "THE EQUALIZER")
Просмотров 273 тыс.17 лет назад
This is my tribute to the 1980s badass character, Robert McCall, better known as "THE EQUALIZER". When I did my Atari 7800 commercial, I had a lot of people asking me where the song I used came from. The tune was the theme to THE EQUALIZER, an action series on CBS during the latter half of the 1980s. The tune was penned by Stewart Copeland, the drummer for THE POLICE. The Equalizer was interest...
My phony Atari 7800 commercial

Being an Atari 7800 owner wasn't exactly cool when your friends owned NES systems. A lot of it had to do with the fact that Atari never advertised that machine and people thought it was nothing more than the old blocky Atari 2600. So, recently with iMovie, I made my video of what an Atari 7800 commercial should have looked like.
Shooting a man in the back. What a coward you are Soran.
I don’t like this one any better than the one they had. If anything, Kirk should have died the way everyone thought he did, saving the Enterprise (B).
that was "fun"
Thank you for this fabulous compilation! Wonderful memories of a classic show.
Lovvved this scene as a kid
Hated how Kirk died, like a stupid on-the-job accident.
I'm not sure, but this might be a better ending. It's a tougher fight for Kirk, and falling off a bridge isn't exactly a hero's death either. I'd be curious to know if there's a high-def version of this.
Wow that was a very serious beat down! 😮😮 Ponch could kick your ass in the 70s.
Cobra Kai eat your heart out
I sometimes watched Chips when it was on tv. That, of course, was a long time ago. I don't recall seeing this episode. Does anybody know who the good guys are that teamed up with Ponch and Jon to fight the bad guys?
His actual ending wasn't great, but nowhere near as bad a this
Wonder who’d win a fight between Ponch and Buck Rogers?
Kirk was always a badass fighter even with Kruge. This wasn't justifying for me.
That was a low blow.
Who walks around with SI'S ?😂 BACK IN THE DAY WHEN PEOPLE GOT THEIR ASSES KICKED. INSTEAD OF COWARDLY GETTING INSTANTLY SHOT.
Andy came back later on in season as a good guy
ponchos double denim acted like knights armour
Cop chop!
Horrible movie BUT if it had to end similar to this then I’d had Kirk be the one to lock the rocket and smile at Soren and jump like DIE HARD when it exploded
This is a way better edit than what I saw on screen. Here in 2024!
This original version of Kirk's death was used in the hardback adaptation of "Generations."
generation is still a horrible movie

Wow I didn't know Danny Bonaduce was into karate
Kari from gimme a break
Eric Estrada should love his stuntman
I bet Danny was walking gingerly after that nutshot.
What’s a tape deck
Where was side walk
Where Chuck Norris behind camera
Give him the old one, two.
Love Chips and crew great series
The show was so silly.
😅😅😅yeah right
What would Edward Woodward do?
After the fight ponch went to the disco and ruled the floor then delivered a baby,,then expertly skateboarded home.
Edward was an excellent actor loved him in everything he did. .missed very much ❤❤❤
For the longest time I thought his name was Andy Mastodon.
Me too
Way to go Ponch 👌👏🙌👍👍👍👌👌🙌👏he deserved everything you gave him 👏
That was a very good realistic scene they filmed.
That was actually a realistic scene.
Eric Clapton has really turned nasty 🧔🎸
Where Chuck norris
Now that real smart l a,your on my sidewalk
Ponch’s Nike shoes 💯💗
Pathetic.....not a torn jean jacket or pants anywhere.
The fight scenes at the time for the most part had to be made for T.V. They weren't like you would see Chuck Norris or Jackie Chan do. They were made for television.
The only Robert McCall I recognize was played by Edward Woodward (1930 - 2009). Why must everything "white" be made "black" by the whining liberals and BLduMb?
is that danny bonoduche? he is a blackbelt in some martial art
Ponch is a righteous dude!
This one is the episode where Baricza actually pulls out his gun on Danny Bonaduce. The first and ONLY time Baricza pulled out his gun.
Yep, I remember
Ah, the REAL Equalizer. Such a breath of fresh air.
