Wasting All My Teen Years- Original Song Lyrics (TW CHECK DESCRIPTION)

I know my voice isnt that great but I'm still getting used to singing in a lower tone now that my voice has dropped significantly on T, I wrote this song back in May when I had just left the mental hospital after a severe attempt and it holds a special place in my heart as THE first song that I felt confident enough in to play for other people. I uploaded 'Shadow People' before this one only because that song was most recently written.
My next song to work on uploading was also written post-MH but pre-ED treatment so the lyrics are very graphic in how I describe an ED voice to sound like:...

I think about this channel quite a lot, the videos on it and the vibes it gives me represent such a precious time in our lives. It's amazing how we're able to document these moments, even a simple lyric video to a song gives a glimpse of what used to be ones interests Back when I first came across your channel, I was still a middle schooler myself, now I'm almost done with school and seeing others people's teen years kind of brings up sad nostalgia in myself (even though I've still got time left in school). 🥲 This is so heartwarming that I might cry dude wow,, I started my channel in middle school, posting at random with no clear genre of content in mind, and my last posts were when I was 16. I post on tiktok a lot now, but I thank my RUclips era for learning how to edit and all. It's an odd time capsule of my teen years, but it's nice to have footage of the pleasant memories in-between the traumatic ones, so that I never forget they're there. Other videos I look back on to analyze my distorted thinking, and recognize that I'm more stable than I used to be. I'm very appreciative of your acknowledgement, and I hope you're doing alright as well. I'm in a much better place than I used to be, but it's sweet that these memories can be looked on fondly by more than just myself. I feel like that lonely kid just got seen, so thank you.
