Thank you so much!!! I downloaded a file and uploaded the music locally to Rekordbox and the beatgrid had been off by exactly two beats, so this fixed it!

I could not do that with the wheel with my mixed in key 10 I can now that I upgraded to mixed in key 11

My rekordbox software is compatible with the JBL speaker but not with many others. Does anybody know a good set of speakers including loudspeakers, that are compatible with rekordbox software, pioneer dj?

Great video. Well done. I always felt the variations on the house music landscape are better described as moods rather than genres. There are no hard and fast boundaries that would prohibit or limit mixing opportunities, like you might have between hip hop and drum and bass for instance, or hard techno and R&B. Many producers will routinely hop between house moods as their production desires evolve. Just my humble opinion.

Why is Rekordbox on the Traktor Standard of 2008? In know setting beatgrids in Ableton, but that is a daw and no dj software, and it has way better functions for beatgrid.

Ridiculous really that you have to do this I am currently on day 3 working through my folders finding tracks everywhere way off Traktor never had such issue ever It's gonna be a long week 🤦

I really don't understand how can anyone consider the DJX series as being DJ oriented mixes. A DJ is supposed to mix (blend) two or more tracks into eachother and in order for this to happen one has to control the level of various tracks. Explain to me, please, how one can increase the level of a quiet track if the DJX mixers don't provide positive attenuation gain on its inputs? The technical specifications state the line input gain is 0 dB, so you draw the conclusions.

It was easier to afford gear in the vinyl days. In the early 2000s I got 1210s for 400 quid used… and still use them today exclusively, mostly with real vinyl but do use DVS sometimes. I had a 40 quid Gemini mixer for years, then a good Vestax, now a Pioneer with DVS capability. So really barely any upgrades in over 20 years. Digital seems all about never-ending upgrades and millions of products that do the same bloody thing.

May be an easy fix I’m new to rekordbox, I have a ddjflx6 and I’m noticing my tempo is maxing out at 148 when I normally mix at around 150. How would I fix this?
