Nobody cares. Both Al and Dave both missed the only oppurtunity that they will have. So be it. No change in my day. I was blessed to have seen both versiond. I hope the best for members of Van Halen versions of the band.

DLR is finished as the lead singer of what's left of Van Halen, in-reality so is Sammy Hagar. Diamond Dave is a solo artist at this point in the twilight of his career. Whatever Alex et al produces from now on there will be no live tour. Maybe an eventual box set or a series of demos and past live releases. Time to Let It Be.

I remember hearing eruption in '78 when new , I was 15 y.o. and listening to Sabbath's N.S.D. album , and it was like the fog lifted and a new era of music was born , first V.H. album blew me away !!!

I am just another Edward and I was so use to being nicknamed Edward Van Halen, as I use to look like Eddie and my wife looked like Valerie, that is gone and I also feel something missing. there is no time limit on grieving. Everyone is different. Alex can grieve as long as he needs to. He owes nothing to anyone.

How Alex could watch the way Ed lived, the drugs, booze and cigarettes and think he'd out live him just shows how in denial they both were about the situation

Still a Money Grab by Hagar in my opinion, Alex has stayed close to Roth despite their blowup regarding a Tribute Tour that never materialized. He has Zero contact with Hagar which speaks volumes to me regarding what he thought of Hagar’s Contributions to the Van Halen Legacy.
