new drummer here, I struggle with my kick pedal, im constantly doing a small double tap, if I try to bury it its worst, its like the bounce is overwhelming. any thoughts? might be technique but I seem to overcompensate to avoid that

I see that awesome speed cobra! I use its beaters (tama accu strike) with my yamaha dfp9 strap drive. Love how the heaviness of the beater carries the weight so quickly and smoothly.

I have 16, 17, 18, 19 crash. Great cymbals with big bells. I especially love the 16 because it's bright, flashy.

You forgot to mention that they’re also lathed now unlike the previous Zs. And the star hammer pattern wasn’t an update. That was used on those old crappy Z Power Smashes.

Not really a beginner drummer by any means but I picked this up for band practice.added on the expansion pack and another kick tower and just used a y cable. Works perfect. Sure beats hauling my Yamaha double bass kit to practice. This kit takes up 1/3 of the room in my van and setup time is mere minutes.

Love my design kit. The bass is a monster. With the right head these drums sound great.

Im kinda confused. I’ve been doing some research before buying new cymbals and have come across with the A series a lot. I love the sound of the ones in this video BUT wich A series are this ones; Avedis, New Beat, City, Rock, Sweet????????

Please help me, I'm in Vietnam, I'm about to buy a good cymbal set, so I have a question that I hope you can help answer soon: between the paiste 7, paiste 8 and paist 2002 cymbals, which one should I buy? Or forced to buy jildjian? Because although I'm passionate about playing drums, I'm still poor. I saved money for a long time to be able to afford to buy paiste 2002. I don't have enough money left even though I really like zildjian K or sabian. Thank you very much

Picked up an 18" crash. It has a slight trashy sound with an explosive attack with medium decay! Love it!

I think audix are the most consistent and reliable mics out in the market. You can put these mics on any kit and it will sound great. Always a consistent sound that’s great

one question: does the sound change from the Meinl Classics Custom Dark China to the Meinl Classics Custom China?

Haven't owned a kit since I left Japan about 15 years ago. It was a little TD-4 back then.. Moving back to Japan. New kit time.

They sound MUCH better than the originals. Seem to be a lot more versatile!
