Range was consciously my number 1 priority here for sure. I was almost hyper focused on it this play session. You can see I give the mirror match 10x more respect than the shorter weapon matchups. I looked up vom tag. I think I'll actually find it helpful to consider. @@LFD-gorecreator thx for the reply and yes you are perfectly right. In spite of the goofy and sometimes hilarious movement patterns of the characters, it's still one of those very few games where actual sword play techniques can be used with great success!

I mean Half Sword is pretty close! I have barely tinkered with Unreal 5, but there are a ton of free tutorials on RUclips. Maybe start with animations and then look up each thing you need as you go.

Bear in mind that this is a clips video, so I'm posting the best rounds. It's not like I'm this clean all the time. That said; I would make sure your mouse pad is big enough, your sensitivity is low enough (I play 400DPI default sens for the time being but you can go lower), and hold shift when you're swinging or moving. Keep that stuff in mind and swing at a fence post until your sword starts going where you want it to. Slow down your swings and make sure you can perfectly swing up/down and left/right before mixing it up too much. Pretend you're trying to draw PERFECTLY straight lines in MS Paint 🤣Then you can start adding angles and get more creative with it. Then it's all footwork, spacing, and timing. I haven't seen you play, but that's probably a good start. My last video was all throws. I'm not great at it yet, but I'm getting more consistent for sure. Thanks for watching!

Drawing straight lines with mouse is damn hard - I can somewhat aim my cuts most of the time, but something like a straight downward chop just goes wildly off. Always appreciate you tuning in man! I usually keep it simple because I think it's overall funnier for the viewer if they can assign their own head voice to my in-game body language. You have to create them. Create a regular soldier, but just don't give him any weapons or throwables. There is no specific zombie artificial intelligence, this is just how the A.I acts when they are unarmed. The voice comes from selecting the zombie voice for the characters when creating them. Then just dress them up however and you got your zombie team. Thanks for watching!

Oh, and also give them extra health. I range different "zombie types" from 150% to 300% health.

I agree I'd like to see the A.I defend better all around as well. There is definitely more blocking types possible than what I showed here. You can move your weapon to intercept, but there is also a sort of "auto parry" that helps angle your sword in ways that you can't manually. Very early days for this game as well, so I imagine the devs will flesh out defense way more going forward. Thanks for the input, and of course thanks for watching!

Yo, thank you! I appreciate the feedback. I leave them together to show they are consecutive. I try and avoid annoying stuff like audio jump scares or harsh visual transitions from low to high contrast, but it can be hard with the way this game is structured right now. It was really good, but I saw someone on the Steam forums say that it's like "killing gas filled zombies", and they weren't completely wrong 🤣 The new blood and gore just isn't ready yet, but I keep hearing we'll see it soon. You have no idea! Throwing and switching weapons leads to pretty much every bug possible like; getting my hands stuck behind my back, weapons getting stuck together or to my hands, weapons hitting nothing as they leave my hands, not being able to pick up anything off the ground, etc. And that's on top of the challenge of actually throwing hard and accurate enough to do anything. This was easily the most frustrating video I've made, but some of these ended up pretty fun so I'm happy enough. You asked for it, and I told you I'd practice! You can only select it when you're playing in the two highest armor tiers. Just pick "Brave Stand" if it comes up on the right side in between rounds. One of the most fun modes IMO. Thanks for watching!

Yeah, kind of! I just grabbed him and moved forward to push him over, but any part of your body can be a weapon in this game. I bet if they were in the right position I could intentionally time it and get some clean knee hits to the dome. I love the grappling in this game. Thanks for watching!
