For anyone having issues using piano roll with the plugin, I've found the solution. The documentation says C3 blows the drone, but it's actually C4. So just make a very long C4 optionally in a separate pattern and then it should work!

The little squeaky things are pretty good for small rodent or mammal sounds. This might sound like a bit of an esoteric take, but I think if we could emulate the sounds a bird's syrinx makes, or figure out a digital analog to their internal vocal structure, we could emulate a TON of different SFX via digital analog controls. I'm thinking more of something like the Lyre bird or the Raven. Absolute beasts of universal mimicry. Now...to the easy task of recreating that structure from 1' and 0's with a cool and unique user interface... We could start from wood wind instrument synths. Things that already exist in synthesizer form in one way or another that try to recreate physical air passing and constricting through various shaped tubes.

It's great as it is, but a bandpass filter, resonator and reverb will probably get it closer to your goal. We all have bandpass filters, resonators and reverb already (by the way). 😉 You do great work!

Cool. Kinda reminds me of a synth by xoxos called 'Elder Thing'. Sort of a monster's vocal tract simulator.

The only problem is that I must now start to develop the right playing technique on this to make a lion roar like a hard rock guitar and such. I think this tool may be of much use for all people using trackers, where you are working more or less sample based and then working with an envelope curve to form the course of the sound. Many thanks for your tool(s) and the great explanation.
