That fuckin home made valve sping compressor is junk, ain't it😮. So show the problems your having so we know not to wast our time on it😂.
what not to do
Not to rain on your parade 1 yr later but to give some constructive (. No puny pun intended) criticism but some engines run better with a bit of backpressure but ruining the valves is an old wives tale, it WON'T HURT your valves - look at light Aircraft etc with their short open manifolds, that " baffle " you put in won't be doing a thing unless it blocks of the round pipe too ,& you've left out a very important muffling component , but I'm not going to say what because there's too many plagurists watching lurking on the net but all you have there , No offense intended,its a ' noise can ' but better than no muffler at all & all quite down to earth in presentation & construction: quite entertaining.ps I Build headers & sports mufflers.goodonya,Trev New Zealand

Dang autocomplete: ... adjustment won't take up.Trev NZ PS howcome only 3 replies & one big NoNo is right brand of oil ... WRONG grade: you don't want to run a multgrade, especially in the heat of your spring & summer...10 weight is far too thin for a Splash & Dip(hope) Rod brg oil system like the old chev 6's with their splash n dip system too relying on a Hydrostatic wedge of oil.Straight racing 30 weight with the Zinc & Phosphate anti-wear additives NOT removed, which are now removed from modern discounted take home packs of oil. Straight 30 weight is more than light enough, NOT 10/30 or 10/40 Weight & use 1/3 can of "Treacle"...STP or old Studebaker's ' Scientifically Treated Petroleum '. You've Been warned !. T

@@1darrious2tim Go to the supplier of the engine😶,their spares Dept should be able to supply you a new one,unless their Chinese etc suppliers importing the raw product only - throw away engine not ment to be serviced: there's always a trade off if it's a cheap engine.Goodluck to others watching .Trev NZ
