When I heard you say Bob's Burgers is you all time favorite go to show I gasped loudly, turned to my 7 year old daughter (who is well aware of my affinity) and said "I finally found someone who loves Bob's Burgers as much as me!!!" i relate a lot to this. i did get back to reading and games in my 20s but i still let them fall to the wayside, and i know i need to incorporate hobbies that I can "progress" in. btw, i'm also in austin, i have no idea what area you're in but Bennu coffee shop is fantastic for writers - its a 24/7 cafe and is always very quiet with lots of people working on their own stuff. i loved writing as a kid and i want to get back into it but i face the mental hurdle of sucking at it lol

Yeah, see, you're mistaking ugly cartoons, with bad writing, which isn't the same thing at all. You can have the shittiest of animations, but back it with a great storyline and amazing character development, and all of a sudden, it's watchable. The cartoon shown however, is STILL ugly as fuck, and VERY basic. I'm sure the content of it is the only thing that saves it. Don't mistake the two.
