What set up u sing for lining 9, 11,14?
So it's constantly running? Like, even when you're dipping into your inks? Like, do you always have to be mindful of your needle hitting the bottom of your ink caps to prevent the needle from getting bent?
Also isn't it hard to get ink into your needle cartridge reservoir while the machine is running?
The battery specs are whack but I’d imagine it would last
Which hits harder the semi rigid bar or the thickest torsion bar?
How to know if they send me the right stroke?
Can’t throw anything in the garbage it’s all a gimmick
What would be a good power supply for it ?that’s not Cheyenne. Thanks
What about mucrosngelo
What’s the difference between v1 and 2
Do you line with it
Hi great vids and channel. Question, im doing lot of tiny tatts (1 i 3 RL), scripts and polymesian/viking tattoos and now Im searching for new machine Filght Nano is still in the lead but Im also looking for FK Xion or Axys Valhalla :/ can you help with advice
I Have my Cheyenne cable for 5years' cant say they are crap, i like it better than any other RCA cables. They weight 2-3x more
Hey, thanks for the reviews, what Do you think about the stigma Stylist and ez filter v2 pen?
Where do you get it that this machine has adjustable stroke? It has adjustable needledepth not stroke! Get your reviews done correct.
Have you ever trying the centritattoo machine???
Bishop is the best running, or functioning, Vlad blad is ok, works well but gets inconsistent after a few months. Cheyenne is the best quality, but doesn’t have the same finesse, or feel as the wand. I have a Kwadron machine along with many others. But I haven’t tattooed with them yet. I agree that pen machines definitely give you the advantage of being able too switch out different needle configurations in abundance. Coil machines are superior. Just a pain in the ass to set up several, and maintain them. Not to forgiving on your joints either.
Would you choose this over a Bishop Power Wand? Please reply 🙏🏽🙏🏽
No wonder they catastrophically fail, 10.5 to 11v. That's definitely the highest I've ever heard, you must have a crazy fast hand. What's the max on it, 12v?
I really appreciate your hones review! I am looking to learn to tattoo and would love a suggestion for a beginner trying to do research. I am a detailed artist looking to work with both color and shading. I tend to lean towards a pen but would love a suggestion for what to purchase as my first machine.
Thank you for your honest opinion. Deciding between this and the Thunder. Buying the thunder now
Hey bro can you do a review on the rook one, I bought it about two months ago and best machine I’ve ever used for shading, and I’ve owned almost every Cheyenne fk iron and bishop machines, it even out does my inkjecta nano elite and I love that machine
you can tell he from canada...mas put on your dsancing shoes \
Thank you so much for this review! I’ve been on the fence about getting one of these for some time now due to the “tilt voltage range”. I’ve also been told that you HAVE to autoclave the machine bc just wrapping it alone does not keep it sanitary, is this true or have you found it to be true after you’ve used it? Again, this was told to me so I’m not sure how true that is. Hope to hear from you and thanks again for you information! Great video!!!🎉
So is it possible that the mediocre performance of an expensive machine caused you to adress shortcomings in your tattooing that you didn't notice with a non-problematic machine. If this is the case and you went ahead and addressed those issues/shortcommings (which we all have to do to become better artist/technicians) it could be that a slightly inferior or inadequatley superior machine cause you to become a better tattooist because of your personal discipline and your desire to give a $1000 a chance to proove it's worth. Just a suggestion. Bias works both ways believe you me I have given a heaping helping of second and third chances that never panned out. It is in the doing sometimes and not just in the getting er done. Peace, don't cut yourself short.
I hear that whirring noise even when I am not tattooing, either that or frogs and crickets....ahhh tinnitus.....Reminds me of a buddy who would ask strangers, "Pardon me, do the voices in my head bother you?" What a way to start a conversation.
Oh my, that is loud, does it grind coffee too?
Thanks for the review.
Спасибо за честный обзор! Мне, даже как начинающему мастеру не хватает жёсткости и скорости на лайнерах и плотном покрасе. Слишком медленная...
Overrated expensive crap…..They are many better machines for less money on the market….
Lol, an informed opinion I’m sure 🤣
@@anthonyjenkins3335 Running my shop since 1992 ( I think I can talk about )… Sol Nova costs in Europe almost 1200€ ( almost 1600 Canadian Dollars )…Just try Avenger 2 pro or Ultron 2 pen from Vlad Blad ( between 700 and 850 € ) and compare them to any Cheyenne product…… On the end of the day it’s matter of taste, but There is no balance between quality and price ( any Cheyenne product )…..At all…I 've tried them all and this is my honest opinion dude…🤙
@@dudedude4034 you should start a channel……I’ve tired them all too, very few even come close to delivering what cheyenne has consistently done for the last 10+ years so agree to disagree. My work, skill and knowledge is out there to be judged which always speaks louder than a fake name keyboard warrior talking shit. Have a good day.
@@anthonyjenkins3335 Keybord warrior running his studio since 1992…..What about you, arrogant clown….? What a attitude….🤮
Never used one but as far as the noise is it worse than a coil machines contact screw popping on your leaf spring for 3 or 4 hrs at a time??
Does this vibrate more then the nuema four and would you recommend this over nuema four
What needles do you think work the best for lining and shading? I'm using the 3.5 but seem to have a little issue packing color.
Thank you so much!! Great to hear!
What’s the best settings for this pen? Like voltage etc. mine 4.5 stroke. I mostly do micro realism. Thank you 🙏🏻
Heyo, thanks for the review, I m looking into some pen guns, never used before, I m always looking into the cheapest and the most expensive ones and also I check as many reviews as possible before buying. Some products are much cheaper than others, amd sometimes even better or slightly less better or much worse, that is in general, but I guess when in comes to this gun, I might skip it. Have u been testing a ego pen gun? Price is same as this one and wasn t sure which one is better. If Ego sucks also, I ll kill my grandma, take her money and buy a cheyenne in the end 😂
What do you think of the axys valhalla
How much is warranty on something like this
I don't support anything from Cheyenne, I had 2 Cheyenne Hawk Pens and they sucked, literally, only after I bought the Bishop Wand Set, now, finally, my work looks professional
So what now you just cruise around looking for reviews on the machines you hate so you can give your “looks professional” opinion? lol gtfo 🤣
You run a 9V motor over 12V for a thousand hours and it’s the machine’s fault? WTF?!
Lol, ok so a couple things, for starters the Sol Nova was a 3 watt dc motor rated for a running range of 5-12.6 volts so I’m not sure what you mean by “9v motor” but that makes no sense. Second it’s been a while since I recorded this but I’m not sure I ever blamed the machine, simply reporting what happened.
Great review! Thank you
Hey I was wondering can the pen be used with different cartridges or can it only be used with Cheyanne cartridges ?
What voltage are u running both lining and shading??
Mad how we all work different hey.. for colour, you like to crank it up.. as where i slow it down.. yet in slowing it down, ironically, it speeds me up.. lil longer in the skin and saturated better.. but for blends I would run a lil faster. Great video Anthony.. as always.. Have you tried the bishop wand packer yet
How loud would you say this machine is compared to others? would you say its louder (or shakier) than other pen style machines you have seen? I just got one and it seems a little louder than expected. Also noticed the vibration from this one is a little more noticeable than others I have.
Trying to choose between the Stigma Thorn or Axys Vahallah pen…. Which would be the best all arounder??
Tough call, Valhalla for the adjustability options but I’d definitely choose the stigma force over either of the others, it’s just a better machine all around.
@@anthonyjenkins3335 one more question if you don’t mind. You prefer 3.5 or 4mm stroke for lining and shading? Only going to get one machine
@@Cjmm007 I prefer 3.5 but that’s definitely just my preference, everyone is different
I have this pen, but can't seem to find a machine cover that fits. No clipcord covers do, what brand do you recommend?
I use these from eikon, perfect fit www.eikondevice.com/products/eikon-clipcord-sleeves-2-x-24-inch?attr_2281=Blue&attr_2339=Clipcord%20Sleeves&attr_3115=2%20x%2024%20inch&attr_6679=Bags%20/%20Sleeves&new_product=0&clearance=0&featured=0
I ordered mine yesterday. Can’t wait to get it. I got the 4.0.
Man i HATED the capillary
I admire your work bro, you are one of the few who review machines with complete honesty. I bought a pen and you told the hard truth about it that I didn't want to hear at that time. However now it hurts even more to know I spent my money on that shit! Man, keep being yourself, because it helps us a lot. Thanks man.
Just got one secondhand.. I’ve been using an inkjekta flite v2 & only thing I don’t like about the hawk is how you can’t push the needles out with your thumb to clean it.. you actually have to remove the cartridge to push the needles out. Otherwise it outlines rather well!
