A quick primer on dub techno produced at higher tempos, ranging from 135 to 159 BPM. Never feel guilty about talking about Basic Channel ever......
lol 159 slow af
Most of the videos of this channel are gone! Copyright strike?
Fadi mohem is also a great artist working on energetic high bpm dub techno in the dance floors
I didn't know I needed to hear this, Thank you.
Bvdub’s One Last Look At The Sea and Silent Reign are both fantastic releases.
Stop posting stuff, I can get it. Deleting already posted content of great quality seems irrational to me. :-(
Would be great to articulate the questions, that you can listen the talk without the image.
Where are these older videos?
Could you please unprivate the t++ video.
I would pay a one time fee to have access to all of the old DM vids….
Kraftwerk Tour de France 2009 feels like classic fast dub techno

Please come back. Berlin loves you.
Welp, there goes this channel. Bro! I really digged your videos. But yeah I know, life happens... money... time... I get it. It's all good my man. I didn't even KNOW about "Dub" Techno until I found you. Hope you can pickup where you left someday. I've had about 10 RUclips channels in my life time, I have also left a couple, one with 22k subs. Stuff just happens man. But I just wanted you to know that you were REALLY good on how you produced these videos and shined light on this genre. Peace.
i would love to view the rest of your videos that aren’t present on your channel. i love your content and i’m happy to see the community you brought together through your love of this gorgeous art form. thank you for your creations nonetheless
I really miss your videos. I hope you are alright. You have the best Dub Techno channel on RUclips.
Quadrant Dub is way more club oriented than ambient. It is though, without a doubt, versatile enough to be played in an ambient setting.
Id at WHO CARES???😂
ARRANGE AND PROCESS😎👍
I come back here every once in a while, and I'm bummed to see some of the videos are gone. Thanks for introducing me to so many great labels, and artists through this project!
I agree, it’s a shame he sunset the project and took down many of the videos 😔
Better to retitle the header as “faster dub techno” rather than kind of hinting at coining a new genre. People may get confused. Honorable mention to Cari Lekebusch.
Also please note to the heads.. Disco had dub versions of their tracks, you want to call that dub disco? Just dub versions of disco cuts. Dub techno is dub techno and there’s dub versions of techno tracks. I think there’s a lot of people who have dub versions of their tracks, leaning more towards the scientist mixing style rather than carrying on a legacy of Maurizio.
I forgot to mention this when I first saw this video, but I would like to mention an artist that fits in this category imh. Its named Low Orbit Satellite, apparently from Russia, and he has many EP releases on his Bandcamp. For more than 10 years has has been releasing what can be described as Fast Paced Dub Techno, but often mixing other Techno subgenres, I totally recommend him.
I deeply recommend radius interpolation tapes! Great topic, and so much info in the comments
Biosphere and Kruder & Dorfmeister are my favorites but I’m not sure they’re even in the genre 😂
Wasn't there more content? Those were great!
Coming off of a youth of UK rave and IDM, dub techno was such a revelation to me. These days it's just about the only type of music I can truly enjoy.
Man i love this channel. I still find the opportunity to reccomend it to my acquaintances
What happened to the backlog of videos? I went to rewatch and they are now unavailable? The whole Dub Monitor project was such a great resource :(
Copyright issues, unfortunately :(
@@DubMonitoroh that sucks
@@DubMonitor is there any way you could make a playlist with unlisted videos, share private links or maybe even upload the video files? I know that's a lot to ask and don't expect you to do so, but thought it wouldn't hurt to try. the content here was just top notch. I started getting into the genre during the pandemic and your videos were an incredible resource. I haven't listened to it in a while (good old ADHD fixations made me kind of forget about it aside from the stuff that remained on rotation). I wanted to get back to digging and learnign more about its history, so I came here and just found the majority of videos went private :( edit: maybe you could release the audio from the videos as a podcast on platforms?
@@DubMonitor Your channel is one of my favorite on RUclips. I have learned so much about Dub Techno from your videos. It sucks that even with the permission of the creators to share their music there are still copyright issues. There has to be some way around this. Your videos are very valuable to the Dub Techno community.
My word, this is fantastic content. Thank you!
Imo you cant talk about modern fast dub techno without mentioning fadi mohem, he really has that sparse, few elements pushed to the max, groovy dub techno in the style of robert hood and basic channel channel down to a science
I'm a big fan of Fluxion. Really enjoying your videos.
thanks to you ive been discovering great music and artist
Thank you so much for the information. Just discovered Dub Techno and I'm really vibing with it and this was a great resource for leads on amazing artists. I really appreciate the work you put into this video.
