I disagree that eczema is not a skin problem. My breastfed infant got eczema. The dermatologist gave my baby a low potency steroid. I was scared when i saw how it all cleared up in less than a week. But i realised i cannot give her steroid all the time. It will lead to more diseases in the future. Hence i began my experiments. Of course my baby was breastfed. My experiments taught me to keep my baby's skin hydrated during the dry seasons. India being a tropical country we sweat a lot. So i kept her in AC during hot temp because she developed eczema only in those places where she perspired. I bathed her in neem water which cleared up her eczema in a week without any medicine at all. I massaged her with neem, olive, coconut oil mixed together when i didn't have neem water. Changing her detergent, or wearing only cotton clothes, or switching to cloth diaper didn't work either. I just had to be careful with what is ON her skin which can trigger her eczema. After months of such experiments she was eczema free as long as i kept her skin clean & hydrated. Just one mistake on my side could trigger her eczema & it did happen. But now since i know how to control it I'm not scared anymore. So i learnt that it's a skin problem of not a skin disease. As long as I avoid triggers she's fine..She eats & drinks everything.

Eh.........it IS a skin condition. Ask any dermatology doctor. Each individual who has eczema is different from the next individual who has it. It does NOT have a cure and mine is most definitely not linked to my gut. It's linked to emotiobal stress for me. I also have asthma and all sorts of allergies since I was a teen.

Shocking that most of the foods to avoid mentioned here are the ones everyone recommends for a healthy diet. Are these recommendations meant as a temporary solution to get rid of eczema, or are these foods to be avoided forever, cause they will always trigger eczema? OK, after reading some comments, this is not meant as a permanent ban on those healthy foods. Let's try it. Oh, boy. Garlic, eggplant, beets, onions, radish, ginger, nuts, tomatoes, citrus fruits, kimchi. First, I will cut out the garlic, ginger, tomatoes, onions, which I eat frequently, and nuts. Thanks for this video!

Your videos on eczema saved my life, I thought I was never going to live a normal life again and cutting out dairy gluten and soy plus taking a good prebiotic healed my body. I come back to this video to regain my strength and motivation to heal when I've overdone it and get a rash again. Thank you for sharing, truly.

I think I have something similar to the condition you once had. I thought it was called eczema but my doctor called it dermatitis. The thing is, my rash comes and goes but it's very common for the rash to be present in the spring and summertime. Right now, the time of year is spring and I am noticing rashes as usual. I remember first noticing my skin condition in 2011 and since then I have had it. In 2015, I had the same condition and I wondered if diet had anything to do with it. So I first eliminated gluten and dairy and my skin got better. However, when I started eating these foods again, the rash came back. I got rid of gluten and dairy the second time and the rash still did not go away. I think I did veganism in the summer of 2016 without eating gluten and my rash still did not go away. It's common for the rash to appear under my belly and in other areas. This year, I relied on creams and it does its job so I am wondering if I have to eliminate more foods? My doctor gave me some recommendations about certain soaps to use and avoid to benefit the skin which I am doing. I am also using a moisturizer known as CeraVe but it's not really doing the job. Even if I use creams daily the rash will not go away. I asked my doctor how I could get rid of this rash permanently he told me there was nothing I could do to get rid of my skin rash other than using the creams. Do I have to eliminate more foods besides gluten and dairy? I do not want to deprive myself of vital nutrients and starve myself to death. I will watch your videos and hopefully follow your advice to permanently get rid of my rash.

What a coincidence that my dr asks me if I am alcoholic bc my liver doesn’t look good 😂.Lol , no I don’t drink but I did take a bunch of supplements who might have screwed ip my liver .Looks like there is connection between liver and eczema or liver and skin in general. 100% agree! You made a perfect analogy. For myself, I developed severe hand eczema at 35yrs old with zero previous history. After desperately searching for solutions and even trying western medicine “treatments”, I found huge relief from an elimination diet (specifically a carnivore diet). However after 3 months, I had been able to stop the itching and inflammation but my skin was still dry. The missing part for me was supporting my detox pathways, as I came to find out I have MTHFR and MTTR variants that influence my detoxing more than others. For full resolution, I incorporated these things: 1.) Nighttime castor oil pack over my liver with a heat pad in it - every night 2.) Every morning dry brushing to move lymphatic fluid 3.) taking a high quality probiotic like Smidge or SFI Ther-Biotic LactoPlus Prime and homemade fermented sauerkraut (homemade and 24hr ferment is optimal or Bubbie brand pickles/kraut) 4.) Enemas - I did 1-2 times a week and used a high quality coffee like Purity, but you can just use warm water with a little salt or baking soda or clay 5.) Dealing with past grief - I hadn’t been aware that the grief I had experienced after multiple miscarriages had transformed into a shopping addiction. Everything I would buy or research was about becoming a mother, healing myself, and stuffing a hole I could never fill. Going to a grief counselor transformed my life, and becoming aware of the behaviors I had developed surrounding shopping to cope with that grief has helped me more forward in a more positive way While you may not have grief, there may be other unresolved trauma or self esteem issues etc that can benefit from a deep dive and addressing for a more complete healing. I can say that after a nearly 5 year battle with very severe hand eczema, I no longer have it and these specific steps were the key to my success. I can now eat a wider variety of food, but prefer to keep it more ancestral animal based because of the nutrients and how I feel - I don’t believe you have to do this component - but eliminating processed and ultra processed junk and excess sugar consumption is vital for long term health besides healing eczema. Thank you!

I am a senior who recently purchased 3 tubes, get 2 free ($48.98) from Smiles & Joy because I suffer from daily eczema outbreaks in the area around my rectum, which is difficult to see and treat. The symptoms of a full-blown flare-up are itching and bleeding. I had high hopes for this product because for temporary relief, I have been using a 0.1% steroid cream, prescribed by my dermatologist. When I received my order, I opened one of the tubes and applied less than a pencil eraser-size amount. I didn't rub it in because I'm cautious about applying new creams to that sensitive area. I'm glad that I didn't rub it in because upon immediate contact with my inflamed skin, I experienced an unbearable burning/stinging sensation much like rubbing alcohol poured onto an open wound. The pain was indescribable and I quickly grabbed a wet cloth to remove the product. It took several washings to lessen that stinging/burning sensation. So much for Smiles & Joy's, which was far from my reaction to this product! There is no way that I could use the product, so I contacted Smiles & Joy by email. I explained what happened and asked if I could return the 4 unused tubes and receive any kind of refund. They responded by saying the burning sensation is normal because one of the ingredients is Menthol. I sent a second email stating nevertheless, I am unable to use the product because the burning/stinging is unbearably painful to me. For policy reasons, they denied me the opportunity to return the 4 tubes and they denied me any kind of refund. So, I'm stuck with 5 tubes of a product that I cannot use, and I'm out of nearly $50. So, don't believe any advertisement's claim that this product can be used in private areas, where skin can be very sensitive. I am very disappointed in the product and in Smiles & Joy's lack of compassion and return and refund policy.

You tip here based on how happy you're with the service. If it's just basic politenes, I'll round up like you do - up to nearest chf. If they're nice, helpful, especially if there was some issue, if they come back to ask how is it and ask for honest feedback, then I tip 5-10% or so (usually around 10%), if we're regulars, we'll go higher, especially for smaller bills. If experience is pathetic I give nothing. And I don't return. So basically - tip for me is for how good I feel, how generous, how happy I am with the service, all or some of that. It's not obligatory, they do have salaries. However, those salaries aren't THAT great considering costs here, so every tip helps/counts. But they have to do something nice for me to get it, as you said, just taking the order and bringing it to my table - that''s their job description. And since we moved here, despite me being of attitude to consider tips by default for nice experience, I must say, there were a lot of places that didn't get a tip from me/us. Because service was poor and food was mediocre, so nothing to celebrate. I don't want them to have a drink on my account :D That's basically the tip = trinkgeld, money for the drink. Or like, when I see tipping jar at self service place I'm laughing. How yes no :D I also do tip my delivery drivers, 1-2 chf. If it's horrible weather, 5chf. In my local bakery I also round up often. In my local farms where I can pay myself with twint, I also round and add, so like 2 chf or such. In that case, even if it's self service, because you know, I want them to keep doing what they're doing, so like small token of appreciation. And interestingly, it's not unusual to get some token of appreciation from them back. It builds a nice light connection :) Like, few times my delivery driver will give me two stamps for ordered pizza even if we ordered one big and one small :D that was so cute when he did it :D (when you collect enough stamps, you get one free pizza) And few times I offered them some sweets to pick :) And regarding going with train to point B to hike back - it's possible they know their fitness level and don't want to overwork themselves. Or if point B is higher, so they only need to go down which is usually easier for many, and they still enjoy the nature. Sometimes people go by train/something from point A to B and then to C to hike back from C to B and then on train to A.

It took doctor #7 to figure out my issue. It’s Contact Dermatitis. It’s a form of eczema and I already had light eczema breakouts since 15. Contact Dermatitis is a buildup of chemicals, essential oils, etc. I’m do light detoxing with 6oz of celery first thing in the morning then a green smoothie. I started cutting out collagen in my coffee because my daughter read something about collagen being a trigger. Other triggers for me are some dairy, wheat. I stay low on sugars.
