Im on my second wear from a decant. Bois Pacifique is a fairly unique and fairly nice Woody Aromatic. The spices are the unique part, and go well with the akigalawood. Especially with the turmeric. I don't have any fragrance in my 300+ bottle collection with a turmeric note, and only a few with an akigalawood note. So I go to my spice rack to get a whif of my ground turmeric, and yep, I'm pretty sure I detect it fairly prominently in Bois Pacifique. It combines well with cardamom and akigalawood. But Bois Pacifique is also a fairly poor performing fragrance, at least in projection. I'm working from a decant on this initial test wear, but I sprayed upwards of 12 to 15 times, on skin and clothes. I just get little or no natural wafting to my nose. To smell it I have to stick my nose directly on my wrists. This composition maybe could benefit from the addition of an incense or ozonic note, or maybe even ginger, cypriol, black pepper, and/or red pepper. Something to give it more lift. The Amber accord is a thin one. Nice scent profile here, but because the likes of my Houbigant Bois Mystique, Creed Royal Oud, and Maison Martin Margiela Soul of the Forest and how they perform and provide natural wafting far into the wear cycle, I prefer them. Bois Pacifique may grow on me to full bottle worthiness. Only time will tell.

Just found your Channel. Love your honest reviews. I really like any fragrance that is woody such as Dior Homme Sport 2022 & Givenchy Gentleman Boisse. I recently got the new Dior Homme Parfum 2025. Will you be reviewing that fragrance? Cheers from Canada. BTW I was in High school when Dior Eau Sauvage came out in 1966.

Percival is the absolute best! Just checks everything off the board a men’s fragrance should be. Quality and sexy silky smoothness. Alluring for sure!

Excellent! I just tried TF Rose Exposed. It is either man or unisex. The rose is not flowery or fem at all. It is amazing. Also Id say it is 1 of the best cashmere frags. Can you try the new TF F'king Fabulous Parfum? I heard it is crazy good but but only a few reviews are out there. Im srarching for decants.

Can you smell the vetiver in this fragance? Im looking for the signature classic scent with a hint of perceptible vetiver, you know... that gives that touch of elegance and a little seriousness. Can you detect some of that elegant but not too much vetiver? Or you can't detect it?.

Naxos is in my wishlist. it's versatile and luxurious, is the most beautiful bottle I guess I have ever seen, and the smell is very elegant and distinguished. I have Layton, but now I perceive it a little bit too playful, for younger guys. Nothing bad with it, but maybe not for signature scent after 28 years old. Aventus, I like it, is the smell of a solvent father of a family, very well put together, and Im not there yet, a bit mature in a good way, maybe 33 and up. Elysium is beautiful with that vetiver, maybe slightly too woody because of that same vetiver, is not letting the perfume shine like I would like in a freshie, very versatile and amazing though. Out for Greatness, I have no words for it, totally transports me to one stage of my infance in a luxurious house. But I dont like the process to extract oud, so Im out. If not, I'd already had a bottle with me. Overall, Im aiming for Naxos. It was not love at first sniff but the unisex component, and when you spend time with the scent, it seduces you in a gentle and elegant manner. Plus, the bottle is pure luxury and beautiful. And Im looking for a signature scent all year round, so maybe it can be this fragance :p. I liked you chosen 10 ones, very well minded :). You have an awesome taste for fragances!.

Iris? Interlude 53 is much better. Beastly powerhouse to be reckoned with smells so good much better than the Irish version magical juice 10 out of 10 if you have not smelled this, you must get your nose on it.

I Love Neo! It is a banger and a beast. I did one small spray on my hand just to see what it smells like and that one spray was projecting and lasted all day

Tried both several times and got samples. OFG is way better. Consistent and stronger. Haltane changes and at times smells like a lemon tree and doesn’t last nowhere near OFG. I washed my hands and could still smell OFG afterwards. I have an atomic rose that I got for free and I’m thinking about getting OFG to mix it up, at least for the summer. But my girl preferred the Haltane so I guess if you’re buying to impress women then Haltane is better.

If you haven’t tried never heard of or tried Solstice Scents Foxcroft Fairgrounds, it is pretty close to the embodiment of Halloween! It has old damp leaves, candy corn, chocolate, campfire…..really something to look into! I love Amouage Interlude! Clean Pirate? Hello Tanya, great review! I am a lover of TF fragrances..absolutely my favorite fragrance house. I have a 2019 bottle of Black Orchid edp that I do wear when the mood strikes me. It is a dark, yet seductive fragrance and the ‘truffle’ note gives it that little extra push over the line from nice right to naughty. I love patchouli and this masterpiece has the best qualities it can add to the composition! This is a great fragrance at night when intimacy can be celebrated. I absolutely love Neo. I love Haltane and the original OFG but Neo is the fresher sister of these two. Love them all!
