    Id say the first cross corner bank is actually the right shot here. It goes and you should aim it to where, if you miss, you miss it short. So it drifts back over towards the blocked pocket, potentially snookering the opponents ball.

    First of all the balls should all be touching tightly racked. If they are not someone doesn't know how to rack the balls.

    Thanks for the video! Very helpful. For the 'Karem' shot, does the distance between the cue ball and the 1 have to be the same distance as the 1 ball to the 9 ball for that angle trick to work where you measure the halfway point?

    I miss the object ball sometimes when I try the extreme angles. Seems with swerve etc it goes a bit more over than I think. Also, I have unsuccessfully tired to pot a ball off the rail. That I seem to really misjudge how far to hit the rail before the object ball.

  • @brett6314
    @brett6314 3 года назад

    Nice thought process. I've been playing 8 ball for two years but I'd like to start playing 9 ball. Our league, APA, has 1 point for each ball potted and 2 for the nine. I like the idea of winning right away but seems like to modify your strategy would be to take a couple down first, then play safe with maybe the 4 or 5 by the 9. Winner is first to 25 points so getting a run or playing safe seems like the way to go.
