Awesome build. I’ve made a handful of a very similar design for some friends that I work with. Question on the NH35 date wheel removal. If I’m building a no date watch, I typically go with an NH38 (as you said in the video). When you remove the date wheel and white gear as you showed, does it remove the first click when pulling out the crown? Or is there still a “ghost” position? I really enjoy your builds. Great editing. Solid voice over. All around good stuff.

Where do you get your custom dials if you don’t mind me asking?

I just finished this build and love it! Question is where did you get that hand set? The one linked and all the ones I could find were like the original Yacht Master, yet the one you show in video has white counter weight and full blue color. I like the look of it and think it sets it apart from a Yacht Master.

I bought one that looks exactly the same but I cant open it for the life of me. The pins you push in to change the bracelet are stuck and I dont know what to do

Is the link on that case and straps is for nh34?

I noticed that you were filing the cut off dial feet nearly overtop your exposed movement. Is that recommended?

I notice that the dial in AliExpress doesn't include the "Seiko" on the dial. Did you add a decal, and if so, where do you find them?

Great build. I built this same watch using AliEx parts but the seconds hand I got is the wrong color blue and is barely visible. Yours is much better. Which part is it? When I click your link for the hands I see like one of 50+ choices, can you tell me which one is the right light blue for an NH35? Thanks!

This watch case is the most comfortable case i ever had.

Got all the stuff I need to build it ended up cutting the wrong pin now the dial looks tilled.

Well done JB, another great looking piece. The YM is my favourite Rolly, so you've won me straight away. I can't help thinking that it would be better with a J style bracelet, i'm really over O bracelets.

i built my own GMT with automatic hn35 movement and over time the time has goten slower, even when putting it in sync with the real time of the clock at the same time. does this happen to you ? and do you know why this happens/ is there any way of fixing this

Would a 3135 fit in this case ?

The ONLY way I can get the second hand on QUICKLY and without wanting to toss the watch out my window with frustration is to .. 1)take a sewing needle, flip the second hand upside down and put the needle head in the second hand hole. 2) lightly pound the needle into the second hand hole with a small hammer. 3) After you widen the bottom part of the Second hand hole, it should be much easier to install your second hand. Not to be a nuisance but when you are filling the back of the dial then blowing away the left over, wouldn’t it be best to be doing that on another bench or surface instead of doing it in front of the movement?

The dial has no date, but the movement does, does it matter? Sorry, new to building and would like to build this one.

NH34 isn't a "true" GMT like you said. It is a Caller or Office GMT. I actually think this is fine or even better for most people, but a "true" traveler GMT allows you to set the hour hand independently.

I love this look... I've tried using the rodico with the press and it just ends up being being up. I think I end up holding the hands too high due to the rodico... I need to practice that more as I just use tweezers and then the finger press by hand.

That watch looks GREAT. I would wear that with pride. Maybe upgrade to a 9000 series Miyota? A little dearer I know, but I'm over seiko movements. Well done JB.

How can I find a Yacht-Master Dial? I really like but can't find it online.

My smallest watch is 44mm. Anything smaller looks like a kiddies watch on my wrist. I preferred the no logo version.

It seems almost identically as Cadisen Neptune Series. :) It's a beautiful watch.
