If you founs node best thing is mine surface then go to next node (mark a lot of nodes then mine them) i was doing dig near terrain then under afyer that node explode but it takes ages and time/meaterial rate is not efficient. Second choice is dig a bit near of the node then dig from up to down. This method is better but still not better than just mine node then go to next. World is huge so no need to spend all time on one node.

That means that you're striking more than one section of the rock, and the sum of all of the damage numbers is always higher than the number you would get striking one section. I figure that in the long run, you're dealing more damage per strike. After 1000's of hours in Valheim, I still debate whether it makes sense to make the bronze pickaxe for faster mining. Sure it's faster, but you use a ton of bronze in the process of making the pickaxe. You could just mine slower, save the bronze, and be done faster. Iron pickaxe will be available soon...

I dont even try mining out a full cooper vein unless its close to base. Usually I grab some on the return trips when looking for other stuff, like berries and seeds. The time spent slapping dirt is time wasted getting wood, berries and also copper/tin. Its also fucking boring. Another great way is using a boat and park it next to copper veins. Mine until you're bored and ship it home. Leave the boat around if you feel like exploring. Another tip is buckler and copper dagger for trolls. Learn to party them. With upgrades buckler I think having level 15+ in blocking is enough to parry. Another free tip: I dont fortify my base. I spread it out and rely on kiting mobs and picking them off as I go. I build walls and stairs I can run up and jump off. Ya know, Benny hill style? I just dont like the time spent sticking around and not seeing new shit.

naw find a troll and kite it to the copper ore and let it smash it, you dont even need a pickaxe to do this lol

You can simply find a troll and make it hit the ore while dodging its blows, which will be much faster.

It's great in mobs. Someone suggested it in the plains in the rare Sealed Tower and it's great there against mobs of Fulings.

I followed the update section, it just doesn't work. The boars turn around or get into the gap within minutes after completion.

just make troll armour, its got better movements speed, quicker to craft and has a set bonus

I had really good time in bronze age living in a dark forest tree house, no need to rush this game, the content is done pretty quick if you are not a crazy builder

You took all that time to dig around the copper, but didnt dig through the bottom to pop the whole deposit? You couldve saved yourself hours

Fire arrows as soon as you find the boss. There is no bronze age.

my tip to mine the copper is I use Troll as a slave and doge all the attack so he can mine for me

Guys, yesterday found the easiest way of mining copper) you need to find a troll 🧌, but that one without a log in hands) make him follow to the copper deposit and just dodge as in dark souls) troll will destroy deposit in a minute)

3 years... Still relevant. They need to fix the bronze age problem, right now it is just a time gate. They should make the entire block full of cooper, to lessen the amount of time you spend gathering it.

I just try and get good food and then use a fine wood bow to kill the elder by crashing beech trees into birch logs. Or if I get lucky and find chitin I craft a chitin knife. Bronze is overrated. Armor isn’t even that good in valheim food is all you should really care about until you get iron since the crypt chests have like 30 iron in them. I make leather armor and a troll vape because it looks cooler than just a scrap tunic but it’s not even noticeable defense wise.

To be frank here, I think the Fulings spreading out and coming back together when attacked by Oozebombs is an actual defense-mechanism. I doubt that this will be changed.

Hey man great work, I made myself a breaded very similar to yours thx to your vid. Did you have any issues with the durability of this farm ? bc I ve had some issues with the wood deteriorating very quickly without a roof. If you have any tips I’m all ears

Bronze age could be bearable, or even nice, if only I had some breathing space between raids when mining, and if metal requirements for crafting were about 50% lower. Now I just tend to stay with troll armor and wooden club until Bonemass fight. And only devs can fix it.

I get so lost and don’t even do the Bronze Age. Lost as in I know what to do next but my play throughs bring me too far from everything, maybe one skeleton place etc …. Then I lost interest and watch videos 😢😅😂

I love the design, it is clean, simple and attractive. The only thing that is not 100% clear to me is how do you get down there to harvest the boars. Maybe some ladders along the edge that are just off the ground for the bottom dtep so that they don't climb them?

TBH the most annoying bit is finding enough "rabbit holes" to get the first 14 surtling cores (to smelt and first pair of portals).

This did not work for me as the tamed lox can collide with each other so they all get stuck in the breeder area
