Im 7 years late! but excellent video. I want to build a remote ATu for 13m long( 2x 6.5m al tubes)rotating dipole. Switched from the shack using larger inductors to dissipate heat and higher Q. Maybe for 1kw ssb. I thought of doing same with thermal camera. I will also measure loss through ATU using a reactive dummy load in a calorimeter.

Maybe some day an even lower frequency can be used. And who knows, perhaps even going below zero Hz, negative frequencies. Not mathematics is the final fronter, bit it is the imagination that is limiting us.

Very nice inductor...interesting design of how crafty you Russians are and that is a compliment.. It seems like your tuner can take 5kW PEP....or whatever your legal limit is. Good job... Nice clean construction...
