On entend très bien le piano, mais très mal l’orchestre. Ça ne dérange pas si on connaît bien ce concerto. La pianiste prend beaucoup de liberté, et ça ne me dérange pas, elle peut bien s’amuser un peu, réécrire un peu cette musique, sans la dénaturer.

I'm not convinced that she's convinced of her interpretation of the 1st mvmt. Will be interesting to hear her future performances for possible adjustments. But i love her 2nd and 3rd mvmts. Always a joy to hear her, thanks for sharing.

Very bright, just like the lady herself. But so is the audio mix, affecting the other instruments as well. The Steinway sounds very young, brighter than one usually hears for Beethoven, but that could be the mix as well. She is so clear that we really don't need the treble boost.

Yuja is truly a phenomenal pianist. I heard No. 1 a while ago. And, now, No. 4. Okay, when can I hear the rest, Nos. 2, 3 and 5? She is just amazing.

Obviously he has lost the plot. Petrushka is in a different league. Why don't you play it again??

May I suggest different names for the 5 'movements': Muidularp, Ettovag, Ozzemretni, Tteunem and Eugig.

She should never play Beethoven. She destroyed it.

It's not for purists. I never laughed in whole my life listining to a piano concerto composed by whom ever it might be. May be Beethoven himself dreamed about such an interpretation. Very bold, full on phantasie, heroic and sometimes cocky.....😄😇❤

Surprisingly okay for a lady who consistently turns out finger-movement only & non-music. I'm pleased. (not with her blue dress, but with this recording, of course.)
