A few weeks ago I did an ammo accuracy test and found Nosler 175 gr had the best accuracy out of my SCAR 17. Took the rifle and match ammo out to several distances to see what the platform was capable of. Dealing with some wind and turret issues, we were able to achieve hits at 1,000 yards. I am lucky enough to have a unique contract pilot gig where I get to fly one of my favorite airplanes, the Pilatus PC-12, to a ranch where we can shoot guns and hunt hogs. Recently they purchased a thermal drone which gave us an insane advantage on finding game. First time putting the SCAR 17 on pigs did not disappoint either. Drone: Autel Evo II

Deff not 1000 yards.
how far then? lol
550 it looks
I’m redoing my BCM upper to 11.5” and went with a DD barrel. After much research, I concluded that DD CHF barrels are some of the best. Everything else on the rifle remains BCM. Thank you for sharing your experience- I will keep this in mind when doing future builds.
Good way to go.
What upgrades/mods have you done?
Just ordered the 945 Industries fanny. Looks to solve a lot of issues with traditional fanny’s
I'm very surprised to hear this, as I've seen videos & talked to several peeps who have had such great experiences with Bravo Company. Its too bad you were unhappy enough to make it public... I've been there, just never w/ BCM. There's a reason I've done a LOT of business w/ BCM over the last ~decade -- and that's because BCM has given me OUTSTANDING service. The two issues I've had involved a slightly out of spec rail, and a PNT trigger I later figured out had out of spec trigger/hammer pin holes. To BCM's credit, not only did they immediately & w/o question square me away by 1-to-1 replacement of both items, but they also popped for shipping, and both times my new parts arrived a few days later, they packed a TON of swag in for my (minor) inconvenience - hats, beaniea, stickers, etc. Hell, I once jokingly troll-emailed them w/ pics of a very worn out BCM trucker hat & told them I appreciate their gear, & w/o a reply, like 4-5 days later, a box shows up on my doorstep w/ a bunch more swag. including 3 complete rifles, 4 complete uppers, over a dozen of their original VLTOR/BCM charging handles and 3 of the second gen ones (sadly, none of the new ones-yet), a few PNT triggers, a couple muzzle devices, one rail, & several other random AFG/VFGs.
Your accessories costs over 4k yet the upper is an aero precision 😂
My gf had an abortion once....the result was basically the same as this paint job.
ok what about this question. I currently have a 13.7 and i want to build a shorter AR next. Hypothetically would you still build an 11.5 even tho u got a 13.7? Or would you go with a 10.3 for more of a range of ARs to use?
POF is 1MOA guarantee
I wont be buying a BCM after all, I am going to stick with POF and PSA, I want a renegade or a p415
POF PSA Best customer service in the game, POF is amazing for me.
+1 for Ballistic Advantage barrels with the pinned gas block.
With all respect, I'm fairly confident this is not good advice.
I tie my trigger guard to a loop that Eberlestock sews into the bottom of the pocket. That way, when I draw, the trigger guard stays in the pocket and both hands can assume the proper grip.
I love my Solus, I picked up a full rifle on sale for 30% off and can say it has blown me away for the price, handloading some Berger 130s I'm and getting under half MOA all day long. Like you said, the action does feel good but once I got about 200-250 rounds through it it feels like butter now.
I'm sorry but this kid is complaining about BCM, FEDERAL and CRITERIUM .. Are these all well-known companies wrong, or does this kid? Just not know what the fuck he's doing
Think the spiritus could fit a 19x? Or any of these for that matter.
I got a 20 jans sport that i carry my 19x in and a spare in the main pocket and a cat tq and a 6 inch israeli bandage and shears in the other
The audio is very bad. Sorry...

Hey man I saw an older video ! Are you in Washington state ?
You thought of running an KNS Discarder gas plug? You can tune the suppressor to your rifle and ammo to allow for a smoother recoil plus lower bolt speed. That will slow down the wear and tear of your rifle.
really great vid... except fot that annoying music.. thank you for the tips.. Painting my new Ruger AR556!
Great rundown. Would only take issue with the choice of 11.5 on a 5.56mm platform. The proper functioning of that round is all about velocity.
Great video. Fair comparison. Seen good things with the Hill People Gear Fanny pack too. Couple thoughts. First, bad guys are looking at fitness, body language and situational awareness. Gear means nothing when any clown can buy anything they want. Second, draw time is A consideration, but far from the most important one. You should be able to recognize a bad situation long before you’re a second away from needing to use deadly force. Just my 2¢
This a good way. Draw time is not an issue if U practise.
Loving my Eberlestock fanny pack. Have a full-size M&P 2.0 with Vertx "tactigami" holster. I'm finding consistent unholstering and reholstering a breeze with this setup.
Nice video!
Great job.
Complaining about this after shooting an 11.5" barrel with a suppressor? lmao
Did you chrono this? I'm going to do an 11.5" with this barrel + headspaced BCM bolt and i'm very curious what to expect. I feel like its a somewhat well kept secret for whatever reason - the Core series barrels seem to be very fast/low drag. I used their 13.9" + headspaced bolt for a main AR build and chrono'd quite a few loads. 5.56 averages were as follows: IMI 55gr FMJ: 3,059 FPS IMI 77gr OTM: 2,747 FPS AAC 69gr OTM: 2,798 FPS Win 62gr Open Tip: 3,089 FPS That last type of ammo is likely loaded to m855a1/very close to max 5.56 specs - its an export training load for Australian defense entities made by Winchester. Its by far the hottest 5.56 i've come across. I also chrono'd tula steelcase .223 55gr FMJ, Wolf gold 55gr .223 and Winchester 62gr "RED223" all at 2,800 - 2,850 fps.
So they gave u and free replacement then a complete refund. What more do u want lol. Talks about babying the rifle then admits to shooting it full auto suppressed in the next breath lmaoo
Tell me you don't shoot without telling me you don't shoot. Full auto is not abusive, not sure where you got this info from.
I think the sub second draw is a fun range skill. In reality, unless the perpetrator's gun is to your head, it's highly unlikely. I'm sure a prosecutor would love the nonstop videos these guys post on Instagram. In my opinion, you'll hopefully take cover or conceal and then draw. But maybe this is wishful thinking. I just haven't seen this .99 second draw with rounds on target in a public setting.
I found this same case at a pawnshop. It's in nearly new condition. Got it for $45.00. Score!!! 😂
Arisaka makes 2.26 mounts for under $100 now with a similar profile to Unity
This is great. I wonder if there’s a way to modify packs to be more friendly, perhaps sewing in some Velcro along the back of the inner pocket for a holster? The only visual sign of the mod would be against the body so it wouldn’t draw attention.
Gonna shamelessly plug a buddy of mine that makes a great ccw fanny pack for Combat Arms, very well thought out design with a quick access Velcro flap that doesn’t inhibit draw times, as well as quick access to spare mags. Check ‘em out
Don't Tread on Me fanny pack. $30 on Amazon. Pull with the left hand down and across to open. Pretty nice for the cash they are asking.
"If you dont really worry about stuff, theres really not that much to worry about." Wow 😂😂😂😂 and turned out nothing like yours. Both look like crap
Was just curious on the Velcro choice and where to get some? Great review of the different type of fanny packs Thanks!
Good video thanks!
With those long draw times... Covering concealments got to be part of the thought process 🤔
BCM is an assembler. they don't make any major components, only accessories. They just employ their influencer army to hawk their stuff. they are trying to be DD without having the manufacturing chops to back it up or justify the price.
You realise that not making the major parts in house is irrelevant right? They still design the parts, and contract them to be made with specific materials and specs followed by inspection and quality control. What building its made at is irrelevant. You haters seem to think they simply buy stock parts off the shelf and paint their name on them. You couldn't be more wrong
ALWAYS LEAVE THE FANNY PACK HALF UNZIPED...
What bipod is that?
Bad mojo, don’t do it!
Great video, thinking of getting a barrel from geissele. Have you heard any horror stories with there hf barrels?
You can't fool us Justin Bieber!
Great review! We would love for you to do a review on our bags. We have been able to see sub second times with our new Gun Slinger bag 🙌
Nice shooting man, wish I could have been there!
