What's up youtube Family. In this video I show a video from my dash cam of another driver getting her bumper ripped off. I was able to help her out with my video, but she wouldn't have proof without it. Never park on the corners, they're super dangerous and this is very common, truck stops are dangerous in general, from people backing into you to people hitting you when they pull out.

The plastic window screen is called Breezeway Screens #2, they also have different ones for square windows for 379's and W900, they sell them on Amazon but they're half the price at the TA.

Question hopefully you see this assp. I’ve dealing with this issue for the past 2 months I’ve had the dozer changed def pump and filters 10k in the hole. My question is. Since it’s not the pump or dozer it’s this my problem.
What code are you getting? Is it doing what mine was doing?
Good Job!! I am having the same problem, have replaced number 3 and 6 injectors. After 100 miles check engine light comes back on. When I unplugged wiring harness it was full of oil. Should have charged harness first!!
I found it will also leak down to the ECM through the engine harness. Mine had oil last November. I think the injector harness and leaking oil pressure sensor both contributed to it.

I replaced the injector harness. Truck runs great but it still has check engine light. Code says injector 6. I did a cut out test and all injectors are working. Truck runs great. Is there another harness between the injector harness and the Ecm? I called Cummins they want to sell me the engine wiring harness. Any suggestions?????
@@RobertsLife how did you correct it? New Ecm? Or engine wiring harness?
@rooster7191 I would pull the engine harness where it connects to the ECM, the plug gets full of dirt and dust, so if its hard to open I would use shop are to blow it out, I would definitely look at cummins quickserve for instructions for the engine harness to ECM plug before trying. If your ejector harness and oil pressure sensor leaked enough it'll leak all the way through the harness to the ECM.
Where ypu buy the part that goes on the window or it come with the ac
The one for my truck is the #2 breezeway truck screen, there's different sizes for different windows, they used to sell them on Amazon, but I found them cheaper at the TA.
What that company averages owner ops a week?
Really depends on how hard you work, but $6k a week is pretty easy to get.

I don't, the guys at Talladega Fiberglass said the usually rivet it in the roof, I put a aluminum piece the same length as the braket they gave me on the inside, useing roofers puddy as a sealant, that stuff comes in a roll. The biggest part was removing the interior.

On my truck the oil is not leaking but I have codes for all 6 injectors and engine laking power any suggestion pls
You need to do more diagnosing for it, hook it up to cummins insite and do a injector performance test, check fuel pressure drop, injector leak test. Did they all come on the same exact time?

I bought one a year ago cause I put bad DEF in once and my dash said 200 miles till limp mode and I Had to drop everything to look for a dealer. No Fun. So I check the DEF everytime before I use it. Worth the money.

If you have a cummins, cummins insite and cummins quickserve online service manual will help you fix everything.

How do you drain water from your AC ?
There's a rubber plug in the back that let's it drain out by itself. You pull it out and it hangs there.

Thanks for the video and your personal tips. $170 an hour! Where is that? Las Vegas Peterbilt is $195, Golden State Pete @ Bakersfield claims they're the cheapest in the valley at $185. And you're right they will hold your truck for 3+ days. Suggest shoving a towel, old shirt or balled up newspaper down the exhaust before scrapping the gasket to keep it from tumbling down. Also a light weight wire wheel on a drill or impact will leave a nice clean smooth surface for the new gasket to seat on. Just an observation but that right front shock tube looks like the weld is one trip to Sacramento from breaking off at the mounting eyelet.
You're very welcome 🙏 $170 use to be at either the rush or freightliner dealer in Houston Texas, but that price is long gone, last I heard in December 2022 it was at $220 a hour, lol. I replaced all my shocks a couple a months ago, everything was good, I appreciate your observation.
@Big Rob We're home based out of NW FL but have more confidence in mechanics in the intermountain states (UT, WY, MT, ID) than I do in FL, AL, GA. We used to haul from the Cummins/ PACCAR mothership in Memphis to the big Cummins shops in Southern Canada and the lower 48. So selectively knowing what shops are going without parts on a week to week basis was definitely an inside tip on how long the truck would be idle for something as simple as an exhaust gasket.

bro how do you check it if its in the DEF tank?
You can siphon some out, I have rubber hose just for that in my truck, just make sure it's long enough to reach the bottom. I use a empty 16 ounce water bottle that I cut in half to test with.
What size air dam u got ? I got a 15 Pete 579 72” sleeper . I was gone get one from 4 states it’s a 72x18 air dam

@@stephenallstar1 it's a flat mid roof, with a 80 inch sleeper. I ended up putting a full fairing on the top. If you ever pass through Arizona, you can have my whale tail for free.

The Spoiler was around $300. With nuts, bolts, and aluminum plates to mount it, around $400.

I bought the def quality level sensor from Rush Peterbilt in Houston Texas. Be careful buying online, there's a lot of fakes, especially on Amazon and Ebay.
I am having that issue right now with my 2016 Kenworth T680. I'm in Liberal, KS. Did it on us54. The truck just died on me. Was able to make it to Liberal.
They need to do something to make these sensors more reliable.

i'm a company guy got same truck more comfy then freightliner mack every once in while def stuff gets screwed up its hard to get truck into regen very important
Do you idle the truck? These truck are all about preventive maintenance. If you wait until the problems come to maintain it, it's to late.
Emissions are a scam. Do more harm than good.
Happened to me last week on my KW T680. Had replaced the DEF Quality sensor last year. Dealer kept my truck for 32 days for a $300 part. Same thing last week but my mechanic replaced it same day. It's a pretty stupid design on the Kenworth. Your supposed to drop the Def tank.

The company I hauled iso tanks paid around $1.70 a mile for loads going past 500 miles, $1.60 for loads under 500 miles. Some weeks they kept me busy and I would gross after fuel $7k, some weeks there wasn't any work and I would gross $1500. Really depends on the company you go with.

I have the same issue on my truck the plug is wet of oil outside but in I'm not getting any fault code yet my question is if I replaced just the gasket inside would that help to avoid oil leak thru there?
It could if you could find a gasket for it. I was told the harness needs to be replaced.
