Well....how do you know the police you encountered were actually running radar at the time when your radar dector did not alert. It's a radar detector...not a police detector. Therefore the review is rather useless. I run an Escort 9500ix and it's near perfect.

I pulled my 9500ix out a while ago and it’s literally useless in Georgia. It falses too much with no k band filters. Went and bought an r4 and it’s amazing. My friends r3 is also amazing.
