Guardians have very high DPS this year, and saying that the class that has War-chant (20m radius aoe damage), and Brutal Charge (+70% run speed with almost 50% uptime, knockdown on first skill), Hammer Down (1 hit KO after Brutal Charge) is not fun... All of the footages you showed about Guardians have a shield equipped. I think the problem lies there. You should never use a shield in landscape, neither as Guardian nor as Captain. If you do, you deliberately sacreficing at least a third of your damage, and now you are complaining that "Guardians don't do enough damage"... Try a 2-hander, try Brutal Charge, gathering 10 mobs, use a few AOE, and say again that Guards lack damage...

I found LM easier than champion. I've played champion for 17 years, have him at 140 (yeah I know I need to get him to 150) and pretty much know him inside and out. Then I go to Angmar and my first class was Beorning. Fun class, took him to level 44 and got bored, so I started a LM. Took him to level 50. Very fun class, easy too and I know they will nerf because they always do, but I was able to own mourning wraiths and soloed every instance in the game until the very end when I had to rethink my build. I used a red LM for pretty much 1-50. It was easier once I got the spells right. Burn down bosses in 15 seconds and all of their minions. I went with fire with lightning that added fire DOTs and of course maxed ring of fire. Melt city. I did try blue line but hated it. I felt too squishy and had to hide behind my pet and watch him slowly whittle down the boss. Boring, especially when they respawn before you are done. So redline all the way.

Hunter is too fast... This is the main DPS class in the game, you want to slower their CD's? Really? If they do that they will ruin the class and it's purpose... Hopefully they don't listen to you. Balance of classes in LotRo is pretty good. Don't fix what is good.

Came back to LOTRO after many years out and the lag and inventory/bag space is likely going to unsub me from VIP and probably the game itself which is a shame, the game itself is good and whilst outdated still has plenty to offer but for the ping/lag issues. It gets to the point i can't craft or move.

Started red Champion and barely managed to get to 30 something and had to delete him in fear of dying from boredome. Created Warden after it (only class I never gave fair chance) and now I am 54 and can not stop playing it. Once you get hang of it it is for me the most fun class in lotro. You literaly have it all. AoE dots, AoE burst, single target Dots and single target burst, heals, buffs, movement speed, ranged option, etc.

I love that LOTRO has the brass balls to come out with a Birding hobby. I feel like no other MMO could possibly do that and get away with it. LOTRO really knows it's player base lol.

I recently got back into the game and having fun solo red line guardian, do with a shield. I rarely die and kill fast enough especialy with mix yellow line 😅 Do am also enjoying brawler tank.

Biggest turn off for me in this game is interface. Not only quest font, because its easy to fix, but everything is so small. Lowering resolution helps with that, but then not looking great game looks even worse :P Also I dont know if this is something I have for some reaseon, or everyone have it, but when I point a skill on skill bar, it takes like 2 sec. to pop up text, with description. Its also a pain in the ass, especially at the beginning, when I learning what everything do.

I prefer having options as to where to adventure next. I don't like a linear world. Exploring areas is part of the fun. You will see when monsters are red that you have gone in over your level a bit. I remember when fog of war made it more difficult to know where to go. I'm sorry that is not still in game, but I understand that many players would find that unpleasant. The game player from 17 years ago is not the same as today's players and the game may not fit their desires. I still enjoy the game immensely since playing from the beginning. You can play the game so many different ways that finding your favorite approach may take some time, but it is well worth it.

One thing I have done to make it easier to gather nodes, and interact with objects is to have the <END> key accompanying the U Key to easily select the nearest interactive item and use it.

Type induction in search window in options menu. You can activate enemy induction shown. Very helpful

You dont have to click on enemies to attack them, you can scroll through targets with tab. Clicking is significantly more cumbersome and also prone to inconsistency.
