What about the rings? Do you think doing iron crosses will help me hit it further? And what about Squats / Hack Squats / Barbell Lunges / Bulgarian lunges / leg press machine / hip abductor & thigh abductors / leg curls / romanian deads / deadlifts / donkey calve raises / wind sprints? Should i intergrate these into my golf training routine? I do enjoy blasting the legs but sometimes I enjoy it a little too much and must sacrifice time out on the range so I can lift more. 💪 And when I go to complete and utter failure it often results in causing so much stress on the nervous system that I have to wait upwards of 2 weeks just to recover. Dorian Yates is my mentor and now that he is playing golf his aim is to go from Mr Olympia Winner 🏆 to Masters Champion which he'll probably accomplish too. Thanks 😊
Combining power lifting, body building with golf ⛳️ is all well and good but can we add in some parqur, iron man, MMA, and climbing Mt Everest? I mean why leave potential on the first tee. As Arnold said, C'mon, time to get serious.

Go to the top of your backswing and try to make a downswing move with out using your hands at all. Many people are literally paralyzed at that point. Cant do anything.

With extra muscle and less flexibility I always had trouble getting my right elbow in front of the body. When I figured out I could fire my lat at the top of the swing and rotate everything sequenced properly. Bryson says he likes to feel stiffer (not a rubber band) in the golf swing so he can control the face. Firing the lat on the downswing adds tons of speed and controls the face. Great video.

You must train your ears too. How else can the mind's eye hear the KÈRPLÙNK before you sink every putt. Hogan said it best. "You must hear the sound of the ball falling into the cup moments before it actually happens. Then and ONLY then can the mind conspire with the rest of the nervous system to make it happen. This is excellent content which can help every golfer at each level. You might add some modifications for those golfers who think the exercises are too difficult.
Of course, however this is essentially impossible until every video is hours long and we cover every different eventuality - rather, each video has a simple, singular focus and the DRVN App is how you implement specifically to your level if you want to make real progress.
As I already said: a normal golfer is not able to fulfill this huge amount of different exercises which is presented on DRVN.
which is why we specifically design programs for all golfers in our training app, starting from as little as 5 minutes with zero equipment. if you think we can deliver training for every demographic of golfer via youtube at all times, you have no idea of what it takes to do this.

We tried bands, they're good, use them often. Balance and strength are the foundation of speed, increase these, increase speed potential significantly.
@ my friend no no. I seen plenty of guys out there like bulls that can’t hit the golf ball and a skinny little guy with Clubhead, speed, and timing can hit the ball a lot further. Flex-ability will trump strength creating more club-head speed which is key! Weights n speed are not synonymous…
@@billzeitzmann6029 yes and all of those 'skinny' guys train, with weights consistently. flexibility without strength equals injury, not hard to find those examples. The sooner the false idea that weights = BIG is replaced by an understanding that resistance training is a good thing for everybody the better. We'll continue to do everything we can to help a huge number of individuals around the world improve their health, their fitness and their golf swings - in that order.

he trains as much as anyone, size is largely down to physiology - he's also one of the slowest on tour but gets it done. also, this is about health and fitness, golf is an expression of that. Train, be healthy and play better golf. or be negative, choose where you put that energy.

Everyone wants what you offer, but most aren’t willing to put in the work (myself included). That changes this year. I’m going to grind and make this my best year ever. Over 70? That's an easy one. And yes, it IS easy and will keep you limber. 1. Jacuzzi 2. Full Body Massage 3. Steam Bath / Sauna 4. Glass of wine 🍷 And you'll be good to go. You'll feel so loosey goosey your swing will become oily, like Sam Snead. Remember him? Sam didn't do any of this Barbarian training. He enjoyed being a professional playboy and champion 🏆 golfer his entire life. Followed him in rd 2 of the 76 PGA at Congressional. Well into his late 60's and still competitive. Sam was a stud. Good ole West Virginia farm boy with good genes.

@@DRVNgolf Thanks for the reply. Been working out for 1 year now, but its pretty much only been deadlift, squat, bench and other stuff. Will move over to trapbar deadlifts now + lots more kettlebell work and stretching, since i acutlly feel ive gotten WAY to stiff and rigid from only doing heavy lifting :( Wouldnt call it a total loss though, since its improved quality of life. Lost weight, mental health etc
