I haven't tried challenge mode but you're overthinking it for normal, really. Just sandwich Helena or Plymouth between two tanks (Anchorage/Brest for example) and put 3 damage dealer BBs and it's easy as pie.

Came back to the game a while ago and I stumbled this. Didn't had a single clue about anything and all I saw was Peppy TB which got me interested into it. But since I didn't know much, I just ended up doing random lessons. Looked up a short guide about it and never knew there were endings. I was at the last stage, maybe like 6 weeks left and I almost had the worst ending but I restarted it because I was interested at the Boss TB ending. Never knew how painfully grindy this gamemode is, but it's worth it just for the Peppy TB -w-

Lol that was WAY easier than it seemed in the video. It only took a full load of CV waves, and one Alsace barrage and the boss melted. I much appreciate the guide, I never have a good grasp of EX modes without some direction.

This requires further testing, though. As of now, I'm quite happy with the results and don't want to spend hours trying different strategies ;P

Huu I chickend out didn't know about the whole ending thing, after checking TBs stats for any possible ending I decided I couldn't recover to get an ending other than shut in, don't normally mind being a shut in but looking at that ending...yea...huu admit failed as a father figure and failed as a player to stay on the sinking ship T-T

Finally I can get a better ending, I thought I was just a terrible father figure due to her getting the repetitive ending repeatedly!

Thanks for the guide I was able to beat it. The projectiles are relatively easy to dodge, but the lag when all of them are on screen suddenly makes it very difficult. It's what turns me off from playing Manual most of the time.

Biggest thing is turning off auto for most of the fight. Most of the attacks aren't too hard to dodge, and you can still turn auto back on momentarily when barrages are charged.

It's early to come to conclusions, but I found a way to auto this one with Vanguard (Georgia gun), Musashi (her event gun) and Bismarck Zwei (Champagne gun). They fire separately with that setup so they can bypass the invulnerability. Maybe in longer fights autoloader is going to be needed on Musashi, but lets see when lvl 10+ comes out

I tried making staggering BB fleet but half of their shots still target the decoys, despite the volleys being over 1.5s apart. I can still see her taking damage so I know that my timings are fine. So my question is this, does the damage taken on the clones transfer to her health pool?

Why does she keep respawning when I fight her? I managed to kill her twice during a single battle, but then she spawns for a third time and I lose the fight
