    At 7:20-- So if more men report having an affair AND having been cheated on, then it doesn't make sense to assume that men cheat more often than women (assuming of course most of them are heterosexual).

  • @saero1960
    @saero1960 6 месяцев назад

    Do women cheat less or do married women cheat less? What does that actually measure…..cheating behavior or commitment to a vow? I do believe that men cheat more. However, I do not think that the statistics are accurate if they are based on self reporting. To me, one has to factor in the repercussions for women in reporting or admitting to cheating in a patriarchal society that have been present for centuries. There is no Scarlet Letter for a man. I believe that due to increased financial independence and opportunity women are close to cheating as much as men and will eventually catch up.

    I appreciate his insight and I think he's sincere in trying to understand things, but there are a few things that I would point out. He doesn't see humans as particularly unique. You have to be a very special kind of smart or incredibly stupid to think this. Now other life form on this planet comes remotely close to humans. If you were some intelligent lifeform from some other planet and you were observing Earth, you would definitely see how unique humans are. We talk about these subjects, we ponder life. After death, we drive cars, we fly airplanes, we go to space, we create artificial intelligence, to say that humans aren't unique comes from academia and cope as to want to explain all of our shitty behaviors in my opinion. I can save you a lot of time. As far as why gen. Z and millennials are different. They are different because their environment has rapidly shifted. Women are becoming more masculine and men are becoming more feminized because they can. Men are looks maxing because although difficult, it's the easiest and shortest way to attract more mates short-term. There's disequilibrium and chaos in the dating market because society has made our roles more interchangeable but The years of evolutionary biology of hardwired into us things that do not and cannot change as rapidly as our environment. Young man sexual needs can be placated through pornography, Uber eats delivers food right to your door, you can get a great sense of accomplishment through playing video games. Men can be weaker now so they are. Can you imagine a future where there are very rich women that are fives and sixes but their with younger guys that are 6364 have all the masculine attraction cues starting families and living in Bliss? Either can I but it could happen but it's going to take thousands of years. The biggest problem I see is that women are becoming men and men are becoming women but women haven't figured out that top-level men will have sex with a big range of women but they're not going to settle down with most of them if any. Women used to hold the family together, nurture the children and be a place of peace and refuge for men as they went out and work their asses off to provide for all of this. Maybe that isn't fair, but it is the model that produces the best well-adjusted children. The more women become like men the more it's going to look like what you see in male homosexuality... Hedonistic individuals seeking unbridled sexual pleasure. I'm not saying any of this is right or wrong, but it doesn't create the best environment to raise well-adjusted children that contribute to an overall society's well-being. What it does create is children raised by social media and the internet and we can see how that's going.

    • @Urexbestfriend
      @Urexbestfriend 9 месяцев назад

      Men these days arent educated nor are they trying to even work. Women are being forced to provide for their families alone while the men walk away. Our young women are choosing to be alone now instead of marrying and having children because men are choosing not to be men anymore. Social media and uber eats and door dash and the like has ruined society. Everyone stays in and hides behind a screen and blames everyone else. No one has friends anymore. Everyone is lonely. Everything is so expensive. The grass is always greener. No one is happy with what they have. I hate the path we are on. Destroy the internet! Its our only hope!

Even according to scriptures, it is said that enlightened monks could communicate communicate with regular people in the ordinary way we all communicate. To communicate we need the sense of hearing. when one enters into a deep meditation of concentration called jnana, the forth jnana is when one can lose a sense of self and even stop breathing, though the concentration keeps them alive. the buddha was in the fourth jnana when achieving enlightenment. jnana is a state that is said to be extremely blissful.

    • @unknownperson7073
      @unknownperson7073 10 месяцев назад

      @@hatewillneverwin. You have confused two things. Firstly, he saw his past lives through a jnana that is unlocked once you master the fourth jnana. Let's call it the "past lives jnana" since I can't remember the actual name. Lord Buddha enlightened by seeing the temporariness aspect of past lives (to notice that you have to stop focusing on your jnana and recognize the temporariness). He didn't see his past lives through the 4th jnana but from the past lives jnana. Secondly, living day to day life as an enlightened monk and staying in the 4th jnana are two different, independent things. To stay in the 4th jnana you have to razor sharp focused. But living in the state of nibbana is a perspective, not some focus meditation that you go in and come out of. So once you've attained that perspective/that nibbana, you see everything about life in that perspective. (The anichcha, dukka, anathma perspective)

    What Macken Murphy doesn't seem to get, is that the majority of men are "low value" as he refers to it, especially in the eyes of an average woman. These low value guys are the average guys. The ones taking delivering our good, dumping our trash, fixing our roads etc. They are the ones with few to no options and because they make up the larger percentatage of the population; they are consuming the red pill content he refers to. This is what is happening out there (in a nutshell)- - Women are having casual sex and competing for with a very small percentage of men - These men have little incentive to commit (invest) in these women - Women get to their 30s, scramble for a high value mate to commit/ marry/ have a child with - Men that they didn't want before are getting the leftovers as the women's time runs out - Women are left unfulfilled and resentful which oiften leads to divorce
