How do you test which one is positive and negative? On mine (SE-1275A) one wire is black with white lettering but the other wire is black with a solid white stripe running down it. Not exactly the same as yours.

I'm insulating the ceiling what do I do with the ridge vents? Leave it uncovered? Or cover it?

Rent to owns are from what I have seen an absolute scam. You end up paying double or st best a very high rate of interest.

Not all companies charge 50% interest. Do your research. There are some that don't charge any interest.

It’s not difficult to be better than T 111. We had a customer with a whole house sheathed/sided with it. We kept having to replace panels. Battens and caulking around every window and door. It was a continuous war on rot.

It’s actually not. Like you said do it short term to keep it off of your credit. I love rent to own. We rent to own our house. Small down payment payment for six months then owner finances it. No huge down payments no dti, no credit checks. Etc etc.

My 2x4s in my shed are 22.5 inch spaced not 16 so its becoming an issue for me as a diyer. I can get the insulation in 23" and such but the total i need is racking my brain. I was not the best in math in school. My shed is a 10'x12' with a barn style peak. Please tell me how many batts i need please. Trying to insulate for a tiny home type structure.

I have that vent in my ceiling and I want to keep the high ceilings. When i insulate do i leave the metal uncovered? I don't know what to do. Newbie!😉 I plan on using battan(misspelled?) then insulation. And if i leave metal uncovered does it mean i can't take drywall to the peak? Appreciate your videos!!!

if you add a ring connector on the wire and crimp that, then put a small bolt/nut through the hole on the clamp and ring connector, then crimp the clamp you will have a lot better connection and less likely to do the same thing again. the new ones I bought from Amazon were designed like this and much better.

Why did you use shiplap and not Sheetrock?

I bought buildings from premier too, there's not enough windows, we need to insulate but not sure what's best, insulation is expensive

3/8" thick LP Smartside seems very flimsy in a 4x8 panel. Do I have to put a backing behind it? That would really jack up the cost. Do I have to place the wall studs at 10" on center to account for the thin-ness of the siding?

shame they don't insulate the floors with spray foam . I am looking at the lean to shed cottage style in Eden NC Shame that BIDEN voters did this to us . GOD BLESS AMERICA OR WHATS LEFT OF IT

Just watched your Video and waited the whole video for you to suggest the different types of siding the market offers and which one would be the best for a shed but instead you talked about the company in N.C. and their process of one particular siding. Maybe change the name of this video to Why I prefer this N.C. company's siding over all other types of siding. The title you have suggested to me that you would be talking about all types of siding options and not just one companies product.

What do you plan on doing with the ceiling?

You needed a thermal bridge between the siding and fiberglass to prevent condensation from the exterior wetting the fiberglass. Houses are wrapped in house wrap over the osb or foam board which serves that purpose. Sheds obviously just have siding directly attached to framing studs.

Seems a little early to make this video, not much accomplished at this point.

Question, most sheds have one or two air vents. Are you covering yours with the insulation?
