I can't believe the DS Lite is a nostalgic relic now...I remember getting one when I was in like 8th grade. That doesn't seem that far away, but that was like 16 years ago.

Did putting the clear screen saver over the etched screen reduce the clarity at all? I really wanted the 1Tb version but really like the clear screen look.

Just recently spent 100 on a mint 2ds. you can find mint condition ones but its hard to find. The 2ds was always my favorite since you don't have to worry about breaking the hinge.

I was 6 years old when my parents gave me a Nintendo DS Lite as a birthday present. Man, good old memories when we weren't able to afford games and only could play a GBA Tony Hawk's game for 3 years and finally got an R4 card with tons of games. I couldn't have been happier as a 9 year-old playing Mario Kart, Rayman, Pokemon, New Super Mario Bros. Beatiful console and nostalgia I got just from the thumbnail.

The matte screen is nice.

it may be fun to open these and play with them nowadays, but nothing will ever top the first experience we all had with them. I certainly dont have as much fun with new nintendo stuff as I used to, when I first got my GBA SP, or my DS lite, DSI, even the 3DS was still fun Nowadays... well.. games dont even run smoothly XD
