Looks like distributor info is not there but I used Distributor Cardone 30-4691 6ycl model and changed the reluctor to a 4cyl. Standard LX208 Ignition Also used 32/36 weber ..thanks for your video inspiration

I just had someone stand on the brakes. Subaru owners use the starter. Put the wrench in, let it rest on something strong (or hold it), and bump the starter.

Thank you. You literally saved me from insanity. I never had the door bong. I had had the "You're out of gas" chime. It is terribly distracting to drive like that. I found myself reaching for a volume knob that isn't' there many times. Its the Dodge form of Chinese water torture.

Are part I and II on You Tube? I would like to convert my '89 2.5L to a carburetor.

I'm having a similar issue with a front bumper. They either sent the wrong bumper or the wrong mounting brackets. Was also short on hardware, and I live 20 miles from the hardware store. So what was your end result? Did you hear from the manufacturer? I haven't heard squat yet.

Great video not a DUH at all! Im the DUH for not knowing this,,, i was going nuts trying to figure this out and replaced the o2 sensor the second time SO as much as your vid was shaky and dark its clear enough what to do and you made it obvious...Thanks so much for taking the time to do it...i have experience rebuilding my trooper engine a few times, they have "quarks" blowing head gaskets, cracking heads, front harmonic balancer's coming loose and beating up the Key causing a strange thumping sound people think is timing gears or rod knock... the front bolt on the balancer comes loose and causes he key to shear so it should be checked. Still LOVE this truck! we paid a grand 14 years ago, when it is all tuned up its a great running car, good on gas for a 4 wheel too. Thanks again! cheers

We would like to do this to our 1990 Wrangler yj 2.5, don't suppose you could share your parts list? Hopefully it would solve our starting, especially when warm, issue.
