It was Thanksgiving Day 2023 and upon leaving family dinner, I heard a faint horn. After some investigating found a semi-rare ore drag on the B&LE running southbound. After getting still images of it at a couple of locations, was finally able to get a quick catch video at Springboro, PA.

In the early morning hours of 12/20/2023 18N derailed a couple of cars in Norfolk Southern's Rose Yard, located in Altoona, PA. While this was a realativley minor derailment and not much good radio chatter was recorded, I felt it was still a fun little thing to share. No hazmat was reported spilled, and the cause has not yet been publically released. I will post new information if any comes out...

On September 1, 2023 we find ourselves along the CSX Salisbury Junction in Myersdale, PA. Shaw mine has recently put a set of approximatly 80 cars together (more or less) and it is the job of C742 to pull them out and take them away. Unfortinatly for this engeineer, it was his first time pulling cars off the junction and with not so perfect locomotive power, he experienced some issues. But over...

On September 30, 2023 we find ourselves back in western Ohio. While investigating the newly added connection track here at Spencer, a possible MoW train for the Wheeling and Lake Erie began to make a shove move back into Specer yard. I did not have my radio on me at this time so it is unknown their symbol or purpose, but it was a fun and radom catch nevertheless.

On May 15th, 2023 we find ourselves back in our home territory of the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad catching a myriad of speeders speed through the southern half of the valley. While more regular than not nowadays, it is a special treat to catch these old speeders still operating as if they were still in their prime.
