2 Quick Catches at Philson, PA

On January 15, 2023 I hoped for a wonderful full day of railfanning the CSX Keystone Subdivision. However, after getting to my spot at Philson, PA in the pre-dawn hours and waiting around for five hours, I only caught 2 trains. An unidentifiable intermodal and Amtrak 30, the Capitol Limited. But, let us return to this location later this year in hopes of warmer weather and more trains!

Was that a helper engine I saw you capture in the middle of the CSX intermodal?

In the middle like that it would be an un-maned Distributed Power Unit (DPU), controlled by radio from the lead engine
