At least I thought it's probably the best coaster I've been on - main issue there was we hurried to get on that first, and then all the other coasters at Cedar Point just felt... not as good.

Having ridden Anubis at Plopsaland, I hate this style of OTSRs. They bang your head around and come way higher than the Vekoma ones, banging your ears sometimes. Given the look of the look of Smiler's final three inversions, I understand why they might leave a sour taste in your mouth despite The Smiler being a great ride.

I hate collosus, I never queue up for it anymore and go on it because there’s no point if you just come off with a headache. It’s not enjoyable at all and feels rough literally the whole way round. And I swear like you said it’s always shut, Thorpe park really need to get rid of it

One thing I would say is Collosis has a nice off ride veiw. It crosses over and alongside the pathway. Repetitive isn't always bad, a level of consistency can be nice in a ride. From what I understand it was a record breaker regarding loops back in the day similar to Smiler. Perhaps the most likely options are a theme overhaul and different trains with the lapbars. From what I understand Hyperia is an early case of those lapbar types becoming more industry standard. I don't see them getting rid of a ride that from what I understand is currently being retracted.

I dont think a Phalanx theme would fit with a roller coaster thats designed to be a relaxing and calmer experience with a wider appeal, so a Nemesis/Phalanx theme would be a terrible idea. Just complete the original theming and rename it back to air.
