Great work as always. I'd like a video request and in it, I'd like to know how much longer you think you have working for FedEx ground? I know the best thing about the job is that you can be done by the early afternoon (besides peak season) which allows the ability to work on other things such as your other channels. But again, it's really to let us get into your mindset of how much more you think you can do this job. Btw, I just noticed that you are one of only two people who are consistent with your uploads about working for FedEx ground.

Do you have a stop count bonus mine is anything over 140 in a dollar extra

I always issues with FedEx with my deliveries. They either loose it or late. I never had these issues with UPS. A lot of times I can't choose the carrier. FedEx is just a horrible horrible company. How is it that UPS never has these issues at least with me but FedEx on the other hand is a different story. I had one delivery that is very vital and they lost it and ruined my life somewhat and it took some time to recover.

Oh no! I’m not that bad! I had 212 packs 131 stops. But I had to unload 27 little shelves plus another ten things they wanted plus’s everything else. Next week I hear. Is the toughest week. 300 stops that’s a lot!

Dude your stops must’ve been super close together to complete all 303 stops by yourself before sun down. That’s no way possible with the route that I had in Bradenton, FL. What time did you dispatch and finish?

The way you load your truck is very similar to the way i loaded mine had a very busy residential route 200 to 220 stops daily and would still find a way to keep that walkway clear by utilizing the shelves efficiently even for my big stuff one it got over that 240 mark all hell would break loose though lol no space for shit

My stuff constantly falls off the shelves no matter how good I pack it & all day long I'm picking stuff up all over the place, the roads I drive on are shitty steep back country roads, I'm hardly ever able to walk thru my truck, I'm so overloaded everyday, it is a safety & health violation everyday in my truck & IDK why these contractors aren't inspected & punished for overloading, one driver can only handle so much !!

Yesterday killed me at least during the first part of my route. Lots of big heavy shit and had a pick up at one of my first stops, a big sheet of glass. Got done early though which is the main goal. Happy thanksgiving and happy peak.

You could get to your door. They sent us out with a truck's center aisle packed from floor to head high from back to 2 feet from front door.

yeppp the last 2 weeks have been wild. Start our 7 days a week on sunday :/

theyre not so so bad, warnings...pretty much ignore. stay off your cell phone, seat belt on and dont run a stop sign, youre good to go oh and for your scanner locking up...make sure you turn the screen off before you drive.

Contractors be milking every cent out of drivers , cant unionized either. That freaking ai. Camera in the trucks are a nuisance to deal with that thing probably beeps if it detects your tailgating a car in front of u on freeway...

If you start with a clear aisle all the way to the back during peak you got it easy mayne.

I organize by street. (LA area driver ) narrow streets, people following you, heavy traffic. Burn too much time looking for it.

I drive for Ground which has now aquired Express in my area. The Express has hosed my day. I run a chaser route that averaged 70 to 80 stops. I run out of a small box truck which I know is a time suck but anything bigger than possibly a P700 won't work with the shitty ass driveways and damn near 4x4 areas I service. I also drive from my North Coast Oregon town to Portland to load my truck in the AM and then drive back, deliver and park at home which is one way is 1 hour 45 minutes. I spend a couple hours at the terminal waiting for sort to be done and dispatch given. My average day BEFORE Express was around 8 or so hours with about 70+ stops. I have now gone to 12 and sometimes 14 hours with 100 stops. It's not the stop amount that jacks the day up, it's the P1's that are spread out from the beginning to the end of my route. Knowing my area quite well I can ping pong back and forth and eliminate some of the stops going and backtracking which in turn makes the continuation of my route and back home much smoother. We used to use Package Route but now use Groundcloud. Each has it's postivies. I run my route manually and don't need turn by turn. Anyway, are you still driving for Ground and or have you aquired Express?

250 stops with over 300 packages. I think it’s safe to say so. 6 day weeks start after thanksgiving however I think there’s only 3 of them this year since thanksgivings on the 28th and then you got Christmas and new years which will be 5 day weeks. Still not gonna be fun.

Amazon sent me a notification that there was a job opening so yeah if they are hiring now in the last few days of November then yeah I'd say peak is here

Organization is key but sometimes I just don’t feel like it. The loaders do okay but I wish they’d stop putting shit on the wrong shelf and/or not scanning packages. I try to tell them “if you don’t know what shelf to put it on, throw it on the floor and I’ll get it but don’t just put it on any shelf because then I assume that’s where it’s supposed to be.” Hide and seek was fun as a kid but as a delivery driver it sucks.

Monday I had like 250 at $1.50 a piece today was a little heavy at like 234 but it’s all downhill from here! This will hopefully be my last peak. Very tough job but the money is damn good.
