Hello Hans, maybe you can answer this. My friend had purchased wild fish looking beautiful just like yours. He spawned them and raised the fry to adult size, but the colors are weak, washed out, nothing like on their parents. Any idea as to why? How long does it take them to fully color up? Donkere bodem. Catappablad en plant bijvoorbeeld. Anubias of Microsorum.

Keep males and females apart for at least one week. Two is better. Then you put one male and one female together in a 25 litrer soft water . Mine was 17ppm and 5,5ph. Put a plant with leaves in they will lay the eggs under the leaves.the next morning. You leave them for two days. Make sure you see them mating. After two days get them out. If everything goes well you can see fry handig on the glass. (They lay eggs under the plants, but the eggs will fall down.) Temperature about 22⁰C. Mostly they will not lay many eggs. Succes
