The aim was to help min-maxers take the best decision, like converting orbs to platinum based on market prices. although i do acknowledge that converting orbs to platinum might not be the most “fun” way. running crest might be more fun, even if in some cases its not optimal. :)

Nice breakdown, but on my server, your platinum calc is too optimistic. I just sold 2/5 hellfire for 19K, after tax i only get around 16,5K… and it’s been sitting on the market for a week 😅 1* u get below 500, 2* 1600, favorite 5* below 40K… Market is dead and more ppl leaving this game coz no hope progression through market.

You probably dont know but in some regions its cheaper to buy orbs through blizzards website. In current state of the market there is absolutely 0 point to buy legendary crests for anything. Gem power or any gems. Covert orbs straight to plat its the way.

I hate the fact they have bound and unbound crests - That is such a dick move on their part. The market suffers because of this. So many times I've gotten 5* gems that could be useful to someone else, but since they're bound, I have no choice but to reduce it to powder.

Great video Sidd! 💪🏼 I seem to have better luck with Eternal Legendary Crests vs Legendary Crests, definitely more than 1 x five star gem every 50 crests, but I know a lot of people experience the opposite. I know the crests are a worse investment but I enjoy the gamble and the rift runs. 😅 I also like the look of the new cosmetic. I’m a sucker for Halloween! 🎃

The quality of the gems your character uses is the main key, regardless of the build.

If you want easy vanguard knockback you can use Fangspitter and the shoulders that add knockback to your multishot.

Prophetics chest only does knockback on the first shot. They nerfed it from minor knockback on every shot due to pvp. I use it too, but I'm combining it with explosive shot burn. Or did use it anyways, I have to go back to DH to compare it to the new Vengeance essences, I was using Painsower Strafe and no Veng.

Dh has a very cheesy trick for CRifts - the taunt knife traps. Those also work relatively good in Vang 4

This is not the "highest damage build". This build makes it easier to clear the tough Challenge rifts and Vanguard modes which requires more features than just damage :) And with slight alterations, these easily clear other PvE modes easily as well :) Cheers!

I have been playing for 1 month and a half now, going on 2 months this week. I'm using Blood Knight, as I chose it by mistake when I started this game. It's ok it's a good character. I have spent about $400 to try and speed things up, and I want to be a low to f2p spender as I can't afford more. My question is about gems to replace my current setup, as I have many things to change. Gems in use. Rank5 Pain Clasp Quality 2, rank 4 Starfire Share Quality 3, rank3 gloom cast quality 2, rank 5 vipers bite quality 2, rank 5 volatility shard quality 2, rank 6 igneous scorn quality 2, rank 5 mothers lament quality 2, rank 5 Ferrant fang quality 2. What do I remove to add BSJ rank 1 quality 2, rolling consequence rank 1 quality 3 I have 2 other quality 2 rank 1, 3 wulfhart rank 2 quality 2, sleeping bile rank 1 quality 2 juat 1 I need to save platinum to get a rank 3 BSJ and sleeping bile. Sorry for long reply.
