How Ambient Temperature IMPACTS Gas Turbine Performance?
When ambient air temperature increases, gas turbine performance typically decreases. This is because the density of air decreases at higher temperatures, reducing the mass flow of air into the turbine. Since the power output of a gas turbine is directly related to the amount of air it can compress and burn with fuel, less air leads to a lower power output. Additionally, higher ambient temperatures reduce the thermal efficiency of the turbine, as the temperature difference between the hot combustion gases and the cooler ambient air (which aids in heat rejection) becomes smaller. Consequently, fuel consumption may increase for the same power output, making the turbine less efficient overall.

      @@powerplantguru007 im currently watching those videos now as i am studying for my new role. And it helps me a lot. But the start up diagram gives me a hard time to understand 😂. I'm trying to connect that diagram you've shown in the video to my source diagram here. And i found it quite different especially you said from start command RPM will increase as well as doing purging. Here in my job site we need to take it to 700rpm and then do purging for 5mins. So i'm a bit confuse.

      FSG gag function is preliminary used for troubleshooting MW hunting issue. When machine is normal- SRV/GCV, MW & fuel flow is constant but if hunting starts- all parameters will oscillates- so to identify that fluctuation is due to which issue? FSR gag is useful. When FSR gag- GCV will maintain same CV opening and if load fluctuations stops- seems problem with GCV servo or related loop. If still problem persists need to look into SRV, MW transducer, fuel circuit etc.

      APU is the unit which works for self cleaning. The air pressure from APU comes in opposite direction of normal flow and push the dust accumulation

      Hello thanks for watching my videos. As you start the boiler the water temperature rise and accordingly volume will rise and the level will increase. That's why the boiler started with a little lower level than the normal level .

    As per my experience about Graphenizer-4 oil (made with Graphene) can take the Turbine lube oil system to next level for sure. a.) It forms a micro-film coat layer of Graphene like a shield inside that controls friction, wear & tear and protects from other negative factors. b.) It Increases efficiency on metal-to-metal surfaces & other internal moving parts. c.) It reduces the Over-heat up to 60% and extends the life span. d.) It also reduces the load drastically. e.)
