Did this route a few years back. Read some of the historical info on the original stage roads going into the valley. It’ll deepen your appreciation for those routes. Check with the forest service before going. They advised me to bring a chainsaw since they don’t often patrol the route to clear it.

Can I get the ingress point for that trail. And, do you need a permit for camping 🏕 in that portion of Yosemite. Thank you for sharing. I'm looking forward to seeing another one of your adventures. Asparagus holds up the best after several days of trail abuse in the 12 volt fridge…maybe that’s why. 🤔🤔🤔

A few years ago my wife and I took the road from Long Barn on 108 to Cherry Lake and into Yosemite, which was quite the culture shock when we had to wait in line to get into the park. Still, it was a great adventure for us even with all the crowds. We went over Tioga pass and didn't get near the valley on that trip. Anyway, great video as usual!

Do not forget to gently roll the Asparagus {RUclips Overland style) while you're slowly sautéing it in the pan tp perfection. Thanks for pointing that out, thought I was the only one.

You should try putting both white lights second one in on both sides. It would open up the white light angle and looks cool also.

All my lights are Auxbeam lights. I also use their 8 gang Bluetooth switch panel and I love all of it!

That’s a big Brook trout! Look for Tamarack Lakes. Pretty easy 4wd trail in and awesome fishing. Usually pretty empty.

I know that area, it is very nice. Are you using the DJI tracking in the moving scenes? My Mavic 2 does not do a great job of avoiding trees and struggles with elevation changes; just curious how you do it. Thanks for the video!
