The Performance bar is stainless steel, not chromed. Which means much better grip.
Nope. It's chromed. The stainless steel bar is called the IPF powerlifting training bar
i rather have the color change plates because they look nicer than save a few bucks the newer version looks the best
For us, it took awhile to get used to the look of the new version. Now, we prefer the "simplicity" of the design.
Can you use the cable attachmenta on the standard none stainless prestera racks?
Eleiko doesn't recommend using it with the powder coated uprights because when you slide the trolley up and down, it might damage/scratch the paint.

Trolley doesn’t seem very smooth up and down the upright. And so inconvenient to use two hands to adjust. Thoughts?
Yes and no. Yes because you need to get the pins out from the holes before you can slide it up and down. And if you're in the middle of a workout, when your arms are tired, I reckon it would be that much more inconvenient. No because it was designed with safety in mind, i.e., no parts of the cable attachment will get your hand snapped in between anything. Also, compared to the single pin attachments (gliding jcup/safety arms), this is much easier. Having said all this, what you see here is the very first time I've used it. Perhaps it wasn't the example to show whether it is easy or not.
Is there any gyms in Johor using Eleiko equipment? Would like to try it out
We've had a few customers from JB, but if memory serves me right, it was just plates.... and I cannot remember the name of the gym.

What type of bonded foam is used under the platform?
i only know it's called a bonded foam. it comes in different density. unfortunately i dont know which one Eleiko uses.
This bar has been recalled, any owners of the Hybrid bar should get a replacement. The black nco coating introduces stress fractures and they've already had two bars fully break. Google "eleiko hybrid recall" for more info.
How hard is it to assemble the prestera half-rack by yourself? If I get one, I’d have to disassemble it in 3 years when I move. Have you ever dissembled and moved one?
Not that hard. Yes i've done it multiple times.

just the bar? i think 27kg... if you're talking about how much weight you can load on the bar, I'm not too sure.
