8:54 don’t bother on any ford when you hold the gas to the floor it goes into diagnostic mode. When you turn the key or hit the start button it’ll crank but not start allowing you to build oil pressure with a couple seconds crank time.

I was just like you with my 2015 3.5. First oil change at 950 miles and every 5,000 after that. I did transmission service, coolant, brake fluid, rear differential all at 40,000 miles. You know what it needed at 44,000? Turbo coolant lines and because I live up north they had to do the manifolds as the turbos were seized to the manifold. Luckily I had the extended warranty. I got it back and literally 2 weeks later the starter just quit with zero warning. Once I take care of a vehicle like that and it leaves me stranded it has to go. I traded it for a Mach 1 mustang.

while I totally agree with changing the oil at 610 miles on your brand NEW F150. I do not agree going with a FULL Synthetic oil with less than 5000 miles for proper break-in of piston rings, etc. Instead, I would have used the Motorcraft Blend. Get same benefits you speak of about draining oil and using fresh new oil. IMO.

May have bad sensor or possibly a bad voltage or no voltage to a sensor? Check voltage across the sensors. It may run ok until the computer starts trying to adjust after it’s warm. Just a guess though without knowing all the details. The wiring on these cars are getting brittle. I had broke wires running to EGR and TPS that wasn’t getting any reads.

So the factory feed line that was originally pulling the fuel through the draw straw in tank from the top of tank what did u do to the fitting to plug the fitting or u just leave it open to atmosphere???

I didn’t do anything with the factory setup on tank. Just the fleece filter delete. Add the sump and run new lines and power to the Fass pump.

Ok thanks for getting back to me I just picked up same fass pump and have a aftermarket lift pump already attached to frame so I guess I’ll just block the factory suction line off from top of tank then I guess. doing the new fass sump kit nice job on the install

One more question when u drilled your hole in fuel tank the original lift pump wasn’t directly underneath your sump cause if not I’ll put my sump in same spot thanks

@@richardwieler4549 It wasn’t, it worked out good for me. Needs to be in a flat part of tank to seal. They are a splash screen in there. Try not to get too close to it.

Hey man, just bought these same wheels for my ‘88 GT and like you were worried about for yours the center caps are getting pushed out. What studs were you going to install for using with the 8mm spacer? Thanks.

I ended up not using studs. They were a direct fit. Flipped the rear shocks.

I would pull that cold air off the throttle body and block it off then check for vacuum leaks
