    *Idea : velcro "diy duvet twin sheet fabric" to inside foot end of comforter. All she has to do is pull up duvet sheet fabric just like your demo but easier to wash and not wear out comforter so much from excessive washing - just un-velcro duvet *sheet fabric* and wash without washing the comforter as often. Diy duvet twin sheet fabric is twin sheet folded in half and sewn like giant pillowcase but dont sew to the top for ease to get in*

    Store your yeast in the freezer. I’ve used yeast that had an expiration date that passed two years prior to using it and my bread raise had no problem. I learned this years ago and alway freeze my yeast.

    I am so excited to try this! We have a camper and the bed is SO difficult to make because there is zero space between the mattress and the sides of the closets at the top of the bed, not to mention all the extra fabric you're left with that there isn't room to tuck anywhere. I had looked into the zippered bedding and said "yikes, no way!" when I saw the price, but I knew there had to be a DIY tutorial out there somewhere to make your own. Everyone with bunk beds, day beds or a camper knows the struggle of trying to make their bed and have it actually look nice, so I'm really glad I found this, I will definitely be trying my hand at it!

    Do you have to do the zipper all the way down? Would it make it easier for a shorter zipper?

    • @mrmrsdiy3610
      @mrmrsdiy3610 4 месяца назад

      You could do a shorter zipper, but it would make the blanket a little tight across the end of the bed, if you have someone tall using it.

      Also, when you take the fitted sheet off to sew the quilt…how do you navigate sewing it on with the machine when the fitted sheet bunches up? Or does the pinning/basting stitch keep it pulled out? Not sure if this question makes sense

    If you had cut the comforter all the way around you wouldn't have to wash the comforter as often as the sheets since it doesn't really need washing weekly like the sheets do.

    • @MonteAmnah

      If you cut the comforter all the way around and then can zip the top off, you still would want to wash the fitted sheet wouldn't you? I may not quite be seeing what you are suggesting.

    hi this is Sue, as a woman who has been making bread for many years, you need to add at least a tablespoon of sugar to feed your yeast.. At the 10 minute mark you should have a good inch of foam. Salt should be added with your flour, it can kill your yeast. NEVER, NEVER go above #2 on your stand mixer it will burn your motor out fast, You should also put alittle oil on all of that ball of dough, and put it in the oven with the proofing setting or just the light, with a bread pan filled with boiling hot water, to help with the rise and and hour and a half is plenty of time to let it rise. When it has risen, you don't need to kneed it again, just punch it down and do what ever your going to do with it, eg. buns, loaves, etc. You need a scale to you can weigh out equal amouts, l now hamburger buns for us are 85 grams. and hotdog buns are 75 grams. and a loaf of bread is 400 and for a large loaf 800 grams. A hint, when forming your buns, let them rest for 10 minutes before smushing them.

      You misspelled knead. Take it easy, or maybe make a video with all of your corrections.

    Absolutely AMAZING that you still work with the imperial measuring system. Your 'one cup of flour' is totally different than the same cup in someone else house. As a matter of fact, I would bet a cup of flour varies as much as 10 grams in YOUR house. Get with the 21st century and go digital!
