You had me at hello…but lost me with the pink color!😮. Your videos are cool and authentic Karol - much appreciated. The guitar speaker sounded kinda cheap and reading amazon reviews kinda confirms that, which is disappointing. I know the accoustasonics are more expensive but in the end you gotta have good sound. Looking forward to your more detailed review running that guitar through an amp, but so far, it’s a nah for me. Thanks again!

I just bought a js22 for $240 with a protection plan. IMMEDIATELY I notice the frets are cutting my hands and it’s all up and down the neck and secondly the nut is cut too low and I’m getting horrible buzzing on the bottom 3. 😂😂 I got what I paid for I guess. I haven’t even plugged it in.

I put Fleor pickups in all 3 of my scratch built guitars. I absolutely love them. It's insane how good they sound. I had a pickup that c stopped working and another that the screw hole on one side stripped. But I paid less for 8 pickups than a pair of Seymour Duncans.

I’ve bought several Donner guitar pedals and they have been good.

Even the coil split sounds really good. And I don't like the sound of coil splits usually either

1. About the body imperfections, who cares? Today, people pay lots of money for "relic" guitars, which are supposed to look like junk. 🥲 2. About the 6 ferrules on the bottom of the body, I super-glue them in. 3. About the little switch, I think you can get used to it. You just think about the two directions, towards the bottom, or towards the top. 4. It doesn't have locking tuners, so put it out in the barrel, and the truck will come and take it away. (It's just my joke. 🥲)

The wiring to doesn’t look like a design intent it seems more like someone wired the neck pickup backwards at least that makes the most sense.

Nice video. I want to take a look at some Grote stuff myself, but I've never had any luck reaching out, so I may need to just bite the bullet and get one myself at some point. lol

The pickups are pretty good, right? The weird switch wiring I guess you'd get used to pretty quickly. I'd rather have two little switches, one for series/parallel, one for coil split. Or a switch for series/parallel and individual push-pull coil split in the pots. You could mod that using the existing holes. Would it be worth the trouble? For someone who likes the guitar enough, maybe. It already sounds good, actually looks pretty cool too. Good episode Karol.

I'm generally not a fan of Tele looking guitars with a non Tele headstock but I really like how that one is done.

Beautiful Strat. I have 2 Donner Strats, both HSS, 1 old script logo and 1 newer logo. They're the entry level ones but are very good and feel and play much more then hat they cost. I think they're the DST-100's.

I put some cheap humbucker pickups in my mitchell hd400 ,30 bucks for two...sounds great. Bought guitar at a thrift store and soneone had put different pick ups in it and solder job was really bad.

The Fleors are great pickups. They split really well too. I have HB's in two of my guitars and single coils in another. For a budget pickup they blew me away. Lot of cork sniffing when it comes to high end pickups!

A pick up is just copper wire wrapped around a magnet and either sounds good or it doesn’t. I would spend crazy money expecting to get such a difference in sound.

Does this Mitchell MD200 play good? They have them on sale at Musician's Friend for $140 for a couple of the colors, and I was thinking about getting it for a mod platform. I've never liked rail humbuckers. They always have this funky ice picky sound, please s they don't take distortion well . I would change the neck pickup to a real single coil. I have an HSS Strat, and I'm either on the bridge, or neck. The Fleor sounds killer! It sounds alot better than a rail!
