If you want to monitor the PC audio and game audio. You would have to use the headset with the PC and send card audio to the headset through audio settings. Or you can monitor the audio through OBS on the PC.

I think because my monitor does not have speakers? I have a line in aux for the game monitor? Obs sounds are coming through pc. Still getting game audio in the headphones. But i think I need the audio from obs to come through the headset? Right? I'm all over the place 😂😂 audio output capture. The evga is not showing. I need audio help somebody plz

If you don't have as many options as I do to separate your audio you can get Voice meter banana or a Virtual audio cable. That way you can separate your audio digitally and capture it separately in OBS, but only plug your headphones to the PC Stereo output.

Its a stereo extension cable, just makes the cable longer.

Check your encoder in OBS and Bit rates. Use Nvenc if you have it as an encoder and try to have a higher bit rate as well. Make sure you are capturing at the highest level desired. I use OBS and capture at 1080p, Nvenc H264 encoder, with a 10K bitrate set to constant rate control, with slow preset and high quality tuning with 2 passes.

I ran into the same problem with both of my controllers. I cleaned both of my controller cable input, however I ended up having to purchase new TRRS cables and that ended up clearing it for me.

I posted the following on our Discord. If you need more help hit me up on there under the Help section and I'll try to trouble shoot with you. The EVGA XR1 does not have multitrack capabilities. If you want to separate your mic audio and chat audio, you must have multiple audio inputs for your microphone and chat and only send the game audio to the capture card. Meaning, that you need a second microphone and turn down the mic input on the XR1 Pro so it does not get all mixed in on the same track. Unfortunately, not all games allow for game audio separation, so separating the chat audio from the game audio is not possible, or at least I have not figured out how to do it for all the games that I play.

Make sure you are not sending OBS audio to the same output device listening to the capture card. Also double check that you are turning off the audio monitoring and mute the capture card audio in OBS and only capture the audio of where the capture card audio was sent/ listening device. If you can provide more info or hit me up on Discord I may be able to help more.

The headset mic connects to the Chat link cable through a TRS to TRRS adapter and using the headset splitter. Use a separate mic to talk to stream.

i tried all the USB ports on my PC, most at 3.0 - still the resolution is greyed out and only giving me the option of 720 P

Ensure the long cable is connected to a USB 3.0 port and the smaller cable is an additional for power. In OBS, check the properties for the capture card and change the "resolution FPS type" to "custom." If your computer has USB-C input, you can connect the XR1 with a USB-C to USB-C cable. Have you tried the XR1 on another computer to see if it works properly? Have you updated the firmware? You may have received a defective device, or your computer inputs may not handle the traffic for 1080p. I tried to replicate your issue, but I was not able to duplicate it.

It should work for Streamlabs as well. The Capture card circling through colors is fine. Make sure to turn off HDCP on the capture card and in the console. Also download the software from EVGA to turn off HDCP on the card and do firmware updates. . On the console HDCP should be under HDMI settings.

Have you downloaded the PC controller software for the XR1 pro and update the capture card? Then try turning off HDCP on the PC XR1 pro software. Also try turning off HDCP on the PS5 HDMI settings.

Make sure the XR1 pro is connected with the 3.0 USB-A cable to a USB 3.0 port on the PC If not the max you will get is 720p, then connect the other small usb cable to another usb port for additional power. As far as Audio on Win. 11, that is a tutorial on its own how ever you can try this: Open Windows Start > Select the Settings app.> Tap Sound > Scroll down to Advanced and tap More sound settings.This should open the Sound settings window.

Check the Audio Level on the "Sounds" settings. Windows 10 - Right click on the speaker icon on the task bar > select "Sounds" > select "recording" tab > click on the XR1 Pro to highlight and click on "Properties" > select the "levels" tab > adjust level as needed. You can also check the audio level in OBS Studio in the audio mixer. Check the Audio level in the PS5 settings. Check the audio level on the XR1 Pro by right clicking on the big center knob and turning the knob.
